Fabulous brunch
by OC mom
We just had Sunday Brunch at Nancy's Kitchen and were really impressed. I had the cinnamon roll french toast and it was fabulous! Very reasonably-priced for the amount of food. Our meals also came out really quickly. We will definitely be going back.
- Pros: No wait for a great meal
- Cons: Not the best ambience
Wonderful Pearl

Nancy's location has good off street parking on NW Glisan. The Chicken Artichoke casserole is fantastic! You can bring in your own platter or baking dishes for Nancy to fill with her wonderful casseroles and/or appetizers. Nancy is a baker at heart and it shows in her menu. Try the lemon chiffon pie, it's to die for! The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. She was open during the snow storm. Now, that's dedication! Prices are reasonable. Remember you get what you pay for and that's superb food!
- Pros: Thumbs up to take out casseroles and pies.
- Cons: Call ahead if you have large group for a reservation. Medium size restaurant.
Nancy's Kitchen

Nancy's is outstanding. Small, very clean, attractive decor. Wonderful Greek omlette, excellent coffee, reasonable prices. The reviewer who said it is overpriced must be a regular at McDonald's. Have brought a number of friends to Nancy's, and several have made multiple return visits, driving all the way in from Beaverton. I am locked into the Greek omlette, but my friends tell me everything else is good, too.
Would give it 4 & 1/2 stars if possible, the only minor flaw being that service is sometimes a bit slow.
hmph.

i ate here a little over a year ago, before prices really went up. anyway, dang expensive for a burger, ESPECIALLY since there are no fries on the side and the tiny salad cup or bag of chips you can get for extra really says they wanna stick it to ya!!!
haha! so many great burgers around town....no need to go back there.
Old Fashion Delicious Food

Quaint cozy cafe. Old fashion home-made food. Great service - big servings. Take out and catering too.
Next to the Pearl Hardware Store with free parking. Love their hamburgers and tuna salads. Plus its open for breakfast!
great pumpkin shakes
by mutley88
Had a good lunch there a few months back but what sticks in my mind is the homemade pumpkin shake - awesome. I'm going to order a casserole for a brunch I'm going to as well - what a great alternative to the same old run-of-the-mill store-bought dishes one usually sees brought to bring-a-dish gatherings by people who don't have time to cook (like me!).
