Sorry Captain. I can't speak to Captain's DJing skills because we're competitors in that regard, but I MUST tell you that he is the most fantastic karaoke jockey in town! Plus he only works at the funnest venues including Sundays at the Green Room off of NW 23rd and Thurman where the hot bartender Trixie serves the drinks and best BBQ up with the friendiest sweetest of service! Of course you can also find him Thursdays at the Perch Tavern in St. Johns, Saturdays at the Twilight room in St. Johns, or various days at Chopsticks II or Chopsticks III. I know this because I've actually followed captain to find the funnest and most entertaining karaoke. He has such an awesome down-to-earth attitude and friendly and open personality that you can't help but let loose and be the nerdiest nerd or the coolest nerd you feel like being. Isn't that what karaoke's all about? If you LOVE karaoke, you WILL have fun visiting the Captain! Plus his sound system is AMAZING, and he must have over 100,000 songs to choose from! So don't worry about not finding what you want, because I've only been to a couple of other places that have such a selection, but Captain's karaoke is by FAR the funnest and most outrageous! Pros: HUGE selection, AWESOME sound system, GREAT times!
Cons: His shows are so popular, you may only sing 4 times in his busier venues. But that's better than most hot karaoke spots!
