I moved to the Portland area approximately 6 months ago. I had been through some fairly significant trauma last year and had been treated by numerous alternative health care specialists in southern California. On moving to Portland, it was one of my priorities to find a good network to continue my healing process. I had heard such great things about the area with respect to alternative health providers that I was shocked to have so many bad experiences....prior to meeting Dr. Higginson. Finally I found someone who listened to what I was going through and willing to work with me to reach my goals. He is an excellent chiropractor that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. The front desk receptionist is very sweet and extremely helpful. Thank you Highland Chiropractic, you are exactly what I was hoping and looking for.
Pros: extremely friendly, helpful.... and fresh fruit in the waiting room

I have had experience with a number of chiropractors in the past and can say that Highland Chiropractic has been one of my best experiences. From the moment that you call the office, you know that this is a well run and efficient office. Dr. Higginson demonstrates a high level of compassion and care for his patients that is hard to find in this day and age. If you want to get better and learn how to stay better, I can't recommend Highland Chiropractic enough.

I was recently in a car accident that knocked me out of line and caused pain in my neck and back. Immediately after the collision I was concerned about my bodily health. Thankfully, I was referred to Dr. Higginson to take care of me. It is not long since the accident occured and I am already feeling much much better. Before receiving treatment from Highland Chiropractic, I was rather unfamiliar with what chiropractors do. Dr. Higginson's adjustments have made me a believer in the process. I am happy to know that I will not have long term issues with my back and neck. Lastly, I cannot forget to mention Katherine at the front desk; she is very friendly and is helpful in finding appointment times that work best for my schedule.
