Best jewelry experience ever
by ewestclimbs
my girlfriend wanted an antique engagement ring with a special story. antoinette was the only jeweler in town that made me feel welcome despite not really having a knowledge about antique rings. I had a few pictures of what my girlfriend liked, and after about 30 seconds Antoinette pulled out the perfect ring. I had been shopping around for some time, so i can saw with some authority that her prices were about half what other stores were asking(and my diamond is a VS1). i would highly recommend going to Antoinette.
- Pros: price, selection, knowledge
- Cons: none
Best Selection and Service in Portland
by beccapdx
If you are looking for a unique vintage piece of jewelry there is no where else in Portland like Antoinette's. Hands down she has the best selection in Portland and her prices are better than other antique jewlers in Portland. She is very helpful and friendly. My fiance, Kyle, and I both can't say enough about our positive experience buying my engagement ring at Antoinette's. We highly recommend Antoinette's for her customer service, attention to detail and gorgeous selection.
- Pros: Friendly, beautiful selection, helpful, prices can't be beat
Wonderful/Unique Antique Jewelry

My fiance and I have had a fantastic experience working with Antoinette. She worked with him to pick out an engagement ring that I absolutely love, I couldn't be happier with it. After getting engaged, Antoinette has been extremely helpful, helping us to find the perfect wedding ring. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, honest and never pushy. I look foward to working with her to find more jewelry in the future. I would highly recommend her shop if you are considering antique jewelry. It's definitely worth a visit to Multnomah village just to check out her gorgeous jewelry!
- Pros: Great service, lovely jewelry
- Cons: Absolutely none
Beautiful, Affordable Ring
by Godwinkr
My fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring, and I was thinking about a vintage ring since many modern rings I had tried on felt too large on my petite hand. We made a special trip from Eugene to Portland to check out the selection at Antionette's, based on a few reviews I had read about good prices. We found a beautiful opal, pearl, and diamond ring from the 20's for around $550 that perfectly suits our eclectic style and minimal budget (opal is my birthstone as well). We were in love with the ring and bought it the same day. At the time, I felt like we may have rushed into such an important purchase without really looking around to other places, but I haven't regretted it yet and still love how unique and pretty my ring is. Antoinette's selection was varied in stones and styles, and I appreciated her history on the progression of ring and stone cutting styles through the decades. I greatly recommend visiting Antoinette's for anyone looking for not-a-cookie-cutter ring at affordable prices.
- Pros: Interesting selection, good quality
- Cons: Hours, if you are coming from out of town
Found exactly what we didn't know we wanted.

My fiance and I had the idea of a custom wedding ring set in mind and went around to many places looking for a jeweler to make it. One day while exploring Multnomah Village we noticed Antoinette's shop inside Le Meitour Gallery and suddenly we were inspired by the idea of vintage jewelry. We found the set that my wife now wears and had one of the fondest memories of many on our journey to our wedding day. Antoinette is delightful (and knowledgeable) and the good feelings just add to the value of our rings and wedding process.
- Pros: selection, price, attitude, wonderful shopping experience.
- Cons: What's not to love?
Antoinette is the best for beautiful pieces and price

I can't say enough about how nice of an experience it is to look through Antoinette's collection. She is SO nice; no pressure, with prices that are TRULY affordable. I am so happy with what I bought and enjoy looking at my rings every day. I have a pair of garnet earrings on hold and am looking forward to picking them up next week. All of her merchandise is one-of-a-kind, estate jewelry in the highest of quality. Best thing is, she will work out layaway terms with you and is not afraid to let you try on anything in her case! I drool......and I will be back for a layaway on a diamond deco ring soon!

This jewelry store is a hidden gem (no pun intended). The selection of gorgeous rings, necklaces, earings, etc. is wonderful. My personal taste in jewelry is estate/vintage and the store is full of exactly those items. If you are getting engaged and want a classy ring this is definitely a place to visit.
- Pros: Beautiful and fair priced

Amazing Experience..Do take the time to read

We are in our late 50's and getting married. We wanted a ring which had been previously loved with a history ..the ultimate recycling of life!
The minute we entered Antoinette's shop we found what was the ring of a lifetime. My background is in Ancient and Medieval history and I knew I had seen a picture of the ring I was holding someplace, but couldn't place just where.
After purchasing the ring I started doing research and discovered it was from the 16th century. We had it appraised by an antiquarian jewelry appraiser in London specializing in old stones and discovered it is definitely from the late 16th century when they were just beginning to cut diamonds in the 'rose' style as it resembles a rose blossom. It was also from the royal house of Spain, (which is why the ring's style seemed so familiar), and was appraised as museum quality starting at $6,500.00 plus. We paid much, much, much less. After sharing the good news, (for us), with Antoinette her graciousness in not seeing it as a financial loss to her business but a delight in orchestrating our purchase impressed us enough to return and purchase another ring, a lovely old rose gold band with obvious markings of having been loved and cherish for many years, and the most fabulous baroque pearl earrings with the same rose cut diamond accents I have ever seen in my life! And again, the lovely Antoinette gave us such a wonderful price we feel she is the most selfless, charming shop owner we have had the good fortune meet.
We have recommended her to everyone we know looking for jewelry, and now to you.
Be ready to find something magical in there, and someone wonderful you can trust.
- Pros: Quality, Price, Knowledge of Product,Charming Owner
- Cons: none
So helpful and knowledgeable

My husband I were in the market for an eternity band to commemorate the birth of our first child. We shopped most of the local antique and estate jewelers and shops and none could compare to the selection and expertise of Antoinette. She was amazingly helpful and wonderful to work with. She really took the time to get to know us and our needs and we left extremely happy with the PERFECT ring on my finger. I wish that we would have known about her when we purchased our wedding and engagement bands. I will buy from her again.
She knows what you're looking for before you do!

My fiancee and I decided to go ring shopping together, and we were looking for a vintage ring. A friend of mine is studying gemology and she recommended Antoinette's because she knew her selection was high quality and her prices were low. I called Antoinette on the phone and described the type of ring I was looking for. When I went to the store a few days later, the very first ring she pulled out, an art-deco from the 20's or 30's, was the one we decided on. Plus we found a charming wedding band to go with it. She is very friendly and patient and obviously loves her work.
My fiancee ended up paying far less for both the engagement ring AND wedding band than he had planned on just for the engagement ring. Antoinette said she is the only one running her shop, so she has little overhead and can pass that savings on to us. She even gave a small discount on the band when we realized we had enough cash.
I highly recommend this shop!
- Pros: wide selection, friendly and personal service, surprisingly low prices
