Great for Gifts

I wanted to find something for my aunt's birthday. This store has a great selection of collectibles, porcelain, etc.

I was able to find some china and other items that my aunt simply loved.

Thank you soooo much. I will be back for more. These guys were very helpful.

Affordable Bargains all around

Finally a store with a commitment to customer service and the inventory to back it up. Many stores including the Goodwill have gone up in price over the years. Not this one. Their prices stay affordable. They have so many different appliances, tools and clothes just to name a few. Check this store out, you wont be disappointed.

I'm a happy customer!

I travel for business on a weekly basis, and I have been looking for an affordable place to park my car while I was out of town. I had been using Thrifty Parking at just over $50 a week, but one day, as I was waiting for a flight, I opened in conversation with a nice young couple.

During that conversations, I mentioned something about the rising rates in airport parking. They quickly told me of how much money they were saving parking with A to Z bargains.

Curiously, I asked what they were paying, and they told me that they were leaving their car for three weeks at $25 a week, and continued to tell me of how A to Z Bargains, Portland PDX Parking, and Parkrose RV storage are all under the same ownership, and that they had just taken on a new location near 102nd and Sandy Blvd, and then gave me a business card.

The next week, I had to fly out again, so I gave them a ring, and parked my car for $25, and they even threw in a free shuttle ride to the airport. The staff was friendly, the lot was huge!, and very secure. I felt as though I was the most important item on their agenda. It was the same way when I returned,.

They greeted me with a friendly smile and the keys to my car all ready pulled up and ready to go. I have been traveling for many years, and in all those years, I have never felt so valued as a customer, and I will be using Portland PDX Parking from here on out, and I recommend the same to you

Cool stuff, Awesome People

I love going in just to see what's new- they always have different cool stuff and unlike most thrift stores in portland they actually have thrift store prices- I always find something and Dave is totally cool, makes great conversation and gives me good deals.

The team works hard to meet the example of the owner

The 1st thing that drew me to their Craigslist ad for auto storage was price. But when I called, it was the demeanor of the owner who sold me. He wasn't anything like a typical auto tow-and-stow guy. He has courtesy, paople skills, and really follows up on his statements of customer service.

I just got off the phone, because I need to park my truck again for 4 months. As I am flying out of pdx really early, I didn't want to be a bother, and said I would just park my truck outside the gate at 5:00 a.m., and they could move it into storage at a reasonable hour.

He refused, saying they are 24 hour, that's what the service is for, and I will be let in the yard.

Dave is honest and open, and the fellows he has manning the yard are perfectly nice people. Maybe they are family, I never asked. But it never seems like they are being hassled to help you get parked and on your way. His secretary mentioned that she really enjoyed working for him, too.

Don't be deceived by the location of the office or the storage yard. These folks are obviously a team, and will go nowhere but up with their business model and they way they interact with the public as real down-to-earth folks.

Best Bargains in whole Town!!

Hi,

I have been a customer of Parkrose RV Storage & A to Z Bargains since 2006, since then they had have the greatest deals on their parking spaces and in their bargains are unbeatable!!!

Before I parked with themm I was looking for something secure and long term, and all the places I visited weren't the right place for my RV, I used to park on one of the storage facilities where they give you a gate code and that's it, when I got back to my RV, some one broke into it and made a mess in it, I contacted the lot attendants and they said that they were not responsible for any damage, i mean how can people park in places where they give you a code and every one has access to your vehicle, well I learned that in the worst way!!

So a friend of mine referred me to Parkrose RV Storage, and when I went to their lot and they gave me a cheaper price than the one that I was paying in the past storage, and I was amazed with their service and their efficiency and the prices. I think they are the lowest in the whole town, they also run a store, where I love to shop in, because you always find really good bargains.

So I am a very happy customer and I wanted to share my experience with you all and recommend all of you to visit them, and I assure you that you will be a happy customer as well!!

Great placefor rv storage and airport parking

I parked my boat there for six months,they have great respect and service for there customers they were really courteous ,when we needed to get into our boat all we had to do was call them and they popped the gate.We pay our bills in there office which is in there sister company A to Z bargains there new and used resale shop,We often find great bargains there as well.I highly recommend this company there service is great and you cant beat there bargains.I Referred two friends to this company there service is very excellent.

thrifty

When i first saw the store i was unsure of what to expect. Its located in a very commercialized neighborhood, what caught my eye most though was the fact that it was located inside a garage therefore it seemed like a small local business, which i am highly interested in. when i walked in the store the people were extremely friendly, the store seemed well organized with an eclectic group of assortment. I saw snowboards, a multitude of clothes, kitchen wear, movies, furniture, books, board games, and electronics. i would say by far, this store surpasses any goodwill or other thrift store that lies in Oregon.

In regards to the customer service, i was greeted promptly with a warm friendly smile and a welcoming "hello" they seemed to be conserved with my well being which made me more inclined to shop at their store. their knowledge on their products was outstanding and their prices were off the charts, if i were to recommend any thrift store in the Portland area i would definitely have to recommend this one.

great values, great products, great staff

A to Z Bargains pretty much has it all. From classic movies you can only find on VHS tapes to secure and safe RV storage. Dave has the enthusiasm and attitude that makes you want to bring him business. Just as the other review says, A to Z is all about the local community and supporting its economy. Everytime I go inside I get to talk with Dave (and his great mom) about the latest happenings in the shop. Inventory is always rotating and well displayed. Recently, A to Z Bargains has picked up locally blown glass tobacco pipes. There pretty much isn't anything they don't already have or can get their hands on.

So, if you are looking for a cool, local shop go talk to Dave at A to Z Bargains.

What a Blast of a shopping experience fun staff,fun stuff and always lots of it...

I know the owner and his mom / employee whom I adore by the way and the only reason I can say this is because I invited them to our local City Bible Church while shopping shopping his A to Z Bargains store about a year and a half ago.

While enjoying my shopping experience immensely he and I began to chat and I learned that he not only gets new and different miscellaneous collectibles ie" vintage and antiques glassware, pottery, paintings, housewares including furniture, dishes and many other everyday household and office goods, clothing, jewelry, tools and shop accessories, books, movies and games, and soooo much more ... I suppose that is why the name of his awesome business is A To Z Bargains. I love it as I do eBay and he loves to Blast his merchandise out with GREAT PRICES !!

He gets such a variety of items on a daily basis for us shopaholics and the best is that they TRULY ARE BARGAINS because he gets so much inventory and currently has limited space and trying to expand , therefore he has to BLAST it out of there and definitely lives up to the name A to Z Bargains!!!

What really melts my heart is that the owner confided in me by explaining that he is working hard at bettering his life and that he has such a compassion for giving back to "OUR COMMUNITY" and he "REALLY DOES"!! He has already helped so many people off and on the streets of Portland OR and continues to do so by way of his gracious giving works that come directly from his heart and the operations of his business endeavors and back into our community!!

His store in a nutshell = FRIENDLY ~N~ FUN STAFF, and the word "BLAST" as I have a "blast" every time I shop there, and he's got so much stuff that he has to "blast" it out with great prices.

"Hey Dave have you gotten anymore collectible salt~n~pepper shakers yet?"
