Portland Team Fitness Makes Wonderful Women

I started working with Alayne at Portland Team Fitness in January. It has been one of the best decisions. When I started I had little confidence in my phsyical abilities and no regular exercise routine. Now I am in better shape, have more confidence and recognize my potential. Plus I now have entire routines I can do at home, or even in a hotel room.

Alayne listens to my goals (be a better bike commuter, better prepared for backpacking) and tailors the routines around these goals. This summer I joined her Wonder Women class and it has been a blast. I get to work out with other people and yet I still have personal attention.

Alayne sure is a super woman when it come to Super Girls

This summer I went to super girl adventure camp. Alayne can do a lot at camp she showed us her no handed cartwheel!! Alayne is fun artistic,athletic and energetic! You can always count on Alayne having a great big smile on her face! Even though she makes you sweat you still have fun at all times.My favorite part about Alayne is she always has a big smile!

Alayne is a great person!

I have been training with Alayne on and off for the last 3 years. She is the best trainer I have ever worked with and the only one I have stayed with. She is awesome at gearing the work out to your specific needs, especially if you have any injuries that you need to work around. Alayne always pushes me to do my best and I always feel like she makes me reach my full potential during our work outs.

I'm not sure how to put in writing to tell you about what a pleasure it is to work with someone like Alayne. When she walks into the gym, you can just feel her delightful presence. She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel great, even when she is making you work harder than you ever thought you could. Your body is in pain (a good pain), and she makes you feel like you can do even more.

Bottom line...if you want results, and want to have a good time accomplishing those goals, Alayne is the one to get you there. If you follow Alayne's guidance you will be looking bootylicious in no time!

Best Trainer in Portland

I have been training with Alayne since 2005. What I love best about Alayne's style is that she can tailor workouts to your race goals, injuries and physical fitness level. I always feel that I receive a solid work out and learn new regimens for when I am in the gym alone. I have watched her with other clients and witnessed their accomplishments as well.

She pushes me further than I would push myself and I get results, for that I appreciate her personal training techniques the most!

  • Pros: Parking, location, fitness customization. Alayne makes you feel extremely comfortable and you have fun!

Serious Results / Fast

I use Alayne's services for weight loss as well as physical conditioning for motorcycle racing and snowboarding. Alayne is an extremely motivational trainer who delivers results, fast! She really takes the time to understand a clients specific needs and goals, and tailors each persons program based on this information.

Alayne will find your limits, push you beyond them, and do it all with a sweet smile and relaxed attitude. For me she went as far as coming out to the racetrack to understand the physical demands of road racing, and designed racing specific exercises that I continue to use today. If you're considering her services I'd suggest signing up soon. I think her talent will outgrow this one horse town in a hurry :)

Great Trainer, Cool Person

I've been working out with Alayne for over a year now. I'm overweight and I had interviewed several trainers before meeting Alayne and none of them took me seriously. The wanted "fit" clients. All Alayne has ever asked is that I try. She has tailored the workouts so that I don't add more wear and tear on my joints. I never feel like she looks down at me. I feel like she sees me and she believes in the goal I've set for myself and sometimes even when I can't see the goal anymore and it feels impossible.

Alayne ROCKS! What I like most is that during your workout session, you've got Alayne's attention. She isn't distracted, she focused on helping you reach your goals. The workouts vary and I'm always exhausted afterward but it's a good exhausted and I feel like I've accomplished something.

When I first started working out with Alayne, I could barely lift the weight bar and complete 5 minutes of cardio. I can do an hour of cardio now and the weight I can lift continues to increase over time. I love the feeling of muscles in my back and arms and I've noticed how much more energy I have. I don't get sore do routine things like moving boxes, painting, etc. because we've worked those muscles and they aren't "lazy".

Alayne is down to earth and real. If you looking want someone who is approachable and good with goal setting, Alayne is your trainer! I would and have recommended her to many.

Amazing Alayne!

I moved to Portland a few years ago from the Bay Area. I was a member of a small independent gym there that I loved and was very sad to leave. I never thought I would find something I liked better until I found the Alayne. She is fun, motivating and joy to be with. Even better than that, she has helped me reach and far surpass my fitness goals. I now look at fitness in a whole new way. I have always wanted to be a runner, but never been able to do to hip issues. The strength she has helped me allows me to run with no pain and simply enjoy the sport. The results have been amazing and I owe it all to Alayne!

The ULTIMATE Workout

When Alayne and I started together, I had big goals....drop a bunch of weight, get stronger, and train for some upcoming events. She took a wholistic approach to my goals. We talked about food, about how much to workout , and what kind of workouts to do. Alayne wouldn't want to take credit for it....she'd say it was all me...but I say that she has been an amazing catalyst for change in my life. With her help, I've lost 30 lbs, I feel great, and I'm preparing to run my first 1/2 marathon. I couldn't of done this without Alayne's support and motivation!

  • Pros: Clean facility, Personal attention, Variation of workouts, Incredible motivation

Trainer Alayne... Good Lord, that is a work out!!

I've been pretty fortunate to work with a few personal trainers over the years and I was skeptical that I'd find a good replacement to a fantastic trainer I had in Chicago. Boy, was I wrong! I've been working with Alayne Rowan for a couple months now and the time I have with her has yielded great results. Frankly, I accomplish more with her in 45 mintues than I did with my former trainer in 1.5 hours. I highly recommend her if you want to work on form, sculpting and posture.

A Step Above !

I had been going to the gym for over 15 years and had become rather bored with my routine and I had a friend that suggested Alayne. I thought that I was very knowledgeable about current workout techniques and styles, but I learned that a lot has changed since I began working out many years ago. Alayne made recommendations that were very specific to my needs and previous injuries that I could use at the gym or at home. There are a lot of personal trainers out there, but few with such professionalism and dedication. Thanks for all your help.
