great hairstylist Rachel

Just moved to Lake O, and was looking through citysearch for a good salon, and luckily I found one! Love the salon, is very cute, but most importantly my hair stylist Rachel was fabulous! I told her an idea of what I wanted, and she gave me a great cut and full highlights that actually turned out really pretty (i have dark brown hair and have struggled to find a stylist that could give me the highlights i wanted). I

Worth the trip to LO!

After moving to the Portland area a few years ago from Vegas, I was so disappointed with the amount of style not only in clothing, but in hair stylists!!! That is until I found Picasso's and Rachel! Wow! Finally, a place that reminds me that there is high quality in the Northwest! Not only do they give you the personal attention that is always found in a high class salon, they still are able to be themselves and are not uptight in the least amount! Rachel is amazing! I am someone that is constantly changing my cut, color, etc... and she is so accomodating and hits it on the spot EVERY time!

Amazing Work

I used to go to Toni and Guys in the mall, but for one reason, Anita. Anita in my opinion is the best stylist there. I've only ever been happy there. When Anita moved to Picasso, I followed her. I highly recommend her as a stylist. The price for a haircut is CHEAP! Only $60. I get my hair colored by Cherrie, who I also very highly recommend. She is also a really good stylist, so if Anita isn't in, (She is pregnant, you know) I schedule my hair appointment with her. They know what looks good with your complexion, and your face shape. Color for my hair costs around $110 dollars. This salon is very professional and worth every penny. Overall, highly recommended.

BEST SALON IN PORTLAND!

Worth the drive to Lake Oswego to have Louise or Anita do your hair! They take the time to really do an amazing job and the whole process feels so pampering and relaxing. I've been going for 3 years and have always been incredibly impressed with their work and the environment that Picasso creates.

I also had my wedding hair done here by Anita. The salon accomodated my 11 bridesmaids plus moms. We were all in and out in under 3 hours and everyone looked flawless. I can't say enough good things!

Lovely salon, friendly staff, reasonable prices

I see Louise for cut & color. They also have an estetician on staff that I plan on seeing one day. Louise is wonderful - roots color is about $50, cut & roots was around $85. Cheaper than I paid in dowtown PDX, and she's better!

LOVE the results of my laser facial!

Okay, so I was very nervous about getting lasered but all my friends are doing it and it looks really good. So I decided to do it. I freaked out a little because I thought I could smell burning hair! Well the lady that did my face was so nice. She stopped, explained that this is normal and waited until I calmed down before continuing. After the treatment, I noticed an immediate glow to my face! It's now a week later and my skin is even better. This is my first post to citysearch ever but I loved the results enough to be motivated to recommend it highly to everyone! Oh and by the way. I chose this salon after getting 5 price quotes from 5 med spas and chose this salon because it was the best pricing by far!

The best customer service!!

this salon has amazing customer service. My stylist Ruel was so awesome, ready to take my vision and make it work for my hair!! So not rushed, he took his time to make sure I was happy. He also does the best massage while washing hair!! He did fabulous color as well as cut. Ruel rocks and I will stay with him! I would recommend this salon to everone!

Paul's the man

Paul at Picasso is an artist. He can color your hair to be the perfect shade you could never quite get anyplace else, while leaving it soft, silky, and shiny. Also, he has a great personality, and makes it fun and interesting to spend the time it takes to get your hair done. After I had seen him a few times, I took the plunge and had the long hair I have had for over 20 years cut short, with fabulous results. I am a faithful fan and client! It is obvious he is doing what he loves, with humor and interest both in the hair and the client.

Great Skin Care

Great Hair - CRAPPY PHONE SERVICE!!!

Picasso Salon has a very talented group of people working for them however, the phone customer service is REDICULOUS!!! You can NEVER reach a person on the phone - it goes to voicemail and believe its a true hinderance on their facility. IF they want to continue growing and be service oriented HIRE A RECEPTIONIST who's main job is to handle that phone. Talent alone does not make a business. You have some amazing talented hair stylists at your salon its unfortunate to not be able to reach anyone on the telephone OR get a prompt call back. My business (great hair or not) is going elsewhere to a more service oriented place. The age of the internet and voicemail is great for some things but haircare and salons is not one of them. Your voicemail system is TRULY TRULY hurting your business. I don't care how busy you may be or are....because of the lack of phone service and availability - I'd rate the salon a 1 for that alone.
