My girlfriend scheduled my 32nd party at laserport to have fun with our kids and friends. During our reservation of our party we asked if we could get additional games after our scheduled two games and they said absolutely. I called the day before to confirm our reservations and they said we were good to go. When we got to laserport there was alot of people and I mentioned that to our hostess. She told me that there was a scheduled party of 80 people but 160 showed up. I asked if we would be able to play more games and she asked how many and I told her that we were planning to play 2 more. She said that she would talk to the owner. Our table was in the middle of the group that was scheduled to be there so they moved us to a small room which happened to be right next to the speakers of the group. The manager came and spoke to us. I expressed my concern about only being able to play two games. He said that they had a larger than expected group come in and there was nothing that he could do. The owner came in and stated the same thing and asked what he could do for us. I told him that I would like to be compensated for the additional games that I was unable to play. He told me that he thought we were takeing advantage of him and I stated that that was not the case. We had asked if we could play more games when we scheduled and if we had known that we were not able to play the games then we would have rescheduled. Our two games were placed back to back and our third game was with the group that had over booked. During our third game it became readily apparent that we were the target of two other teams. The other teams were shooting our kids in the eyes with the laser guns and were "getting in our faces." During our checkout the Manager was very rude to my girlfriend making snide remarks to the service that was provided to us. Laserport had plenty of oppurtunity to notify us of the impending overbooking.

Great Time! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly! New equipment is Awesome.

Since Laserport moved to their new location on Allen Blvd in Beaverton the place has gone from a fun place to an awesome place. Their arena is fantastic and the new sound system is great. They have new lasertag equipment that is the best in Portland. I ate at the new restaurant called the Copper Monkey and had the Cipolte Steak and I was so impressed. There is no other amusement place in the Portland area that offers such good food. The place is huge! You have got to go there and give it a try.
Pros: hand made pizza, huge arena, brand new
