holiday humbug!.
We stayed at the Huckleberry Inn for three days over the Christmas weekend. At check-in, we dealt with a very unwelcoming staff member (this was on Christmas day). We had a total of three rooms for
our group. The furnishings and beds were old and worn out. Every morning we woke up with back aches! The next day we had breakfast at the restaurant. The food was okay but once again, the waiter was gruff and unfriendly. After we got home, I called the manager and wanted to share the dissatisfaction and disappointment in our experience.
He made many excuses and than hung up on me.
There are many other options for lodging in the area and I would recommend exploring them.
This will be our first and last visit to the Huckleberry Inn.…
A new tradition!. We went to the Huckleberry Inn for lunch after deciding that Timberline Lodge's menu wasn't quite for us. This place is beautiful when it's snowing and has icicles hanging from the roof top. We have eaten here several times with the kids and without and each time the service is prompt and the food is great! They provide crayons and papers for the little ones which is nice. Their food is so great and always hits the spot. My only suggestion is to not pay for the milkshakes. They are overpriced especially for their small size. We have had breakfast and lunch here and everything we eat is great! We go to Redmond a lot and love to stop on the way back and take in the scenery. :)…
