It seems like everybody has their Les Schwab story. Here's just one of mine. I bought some new, very expensive Yokohama tires at a competitor. I had a slow leak in one of the tires. Pain in the neck. Well, Les Schwab Tires was not that far from our house in Westlake, Lake Oswego. So, I took my car there, fully prepared to pay them to fix it. They checked and said the valve stem was obviously the one from the original factory tires; i.e. the dealer I bought the tires at didn't replace them when they changed my tires. The leak was in the valve stem. So, the guys at Les Schwab change out the valve stem and rebalance the tire just to be sure it's squared away. They wouldn't let me pay for it. Six months later, I bought some outstanding Toyo Open Country H/T tires for my wife's Yukon. They weren't the cheapest tires around, but after driving all the way to our new home in Texas I can tell you the tires worked great in rain, snow, and hot dry pavement. And, they are wearing great. I only wish that Les Schwab was in Texas.

Pros: Range of good to very good tires. Incredible service. Fast. Zero quibbling on warranties.

Cons: Not the cheapest. Their best prices are on tires like Toyo they mostly have an exclusive on.
