The "Filler" and the Blue Cheese burgers are excellent. The cajun fries and shakes are great. My kid's don't like the roll-like buns on the child's burgers, and unless you get a double patty burger with the interesting toppings, you won't find their burger to be anything out of the ordinary.

I had eaten at "Giant Buger's" before in other locations and enjoyed the burger, so thought I would give this one a try. Big Mistake! Their service was not the most friendly and certainly not willing to be flexable as to giving me what I wanted. "Extreme" strict rules for NO CHANGES what so ever was explained to me.... Thus No Grilled Onions! on my burger unless they put them on "Their Choice of Burger"! I have never had a 'good burger' that didn't have some "Juicy Wetness and FLAVOR"! This one was so dry I used up about a dozen packets of the Heinz Ketchup to help get it down. I am just to frugal to leave the food and go to "Fuddruckers" which is just down the street, but should have! I am sorry to have tried this one, but felt like it would be as good as the one in other areas,,, NOT! Go someplace else, I hate to say,, even go to Mc'D's.. and I thought I would never say that... Enjoy life and a better burger elsewhere!

Alright guys, let's be serious. This is not a four star restaraunt - it's a greasy burger joint, and it's gooood. Yes, The owner has stupid policies, like charging for extra ketchup or refusing to substitue...but it's his place to do what he will, and I love his burgers! The place is always packed for a reason. For the nay sayers - when did mcdonalds or burger king last have burgers stacked w/ blue cheese and fresh crispy bacon, or red peppers and a fried egg? It's fresh food and local ingredients with a burger for any taste. It's been here for 50 years, and there has to be a reason why! This is a cash only place so be prepared.
I will not go back as the owner is a fool!

Good food, but the owner is a fool. I will not go back. I was sitting waiting for my food when two men walked in and one asked for a cheese burger but he said he can not have sesame seeds on the bun. The owner said he had onion buns but those only come with specialty burgers. The man asked if he could have an onion bun on a cheese burger. The owner said no but you can get an onion bun if you buy a specialty burger like the guacamole burger. The guy said he does not like guacamole burger. The owner would not work with him. Talk about a dumb business man. He could have charged an extra .50 cents or something. Instead he let the two customers walk out disappointed. I was shocked, what a fool. I will not go back. I do not want to support stupid people. I run my own business and in this economy you better work with your customers or you will not have any. I am always weary of a business that only takes cash and has no record of transactions. Anyone know an IRS agent?

Great burgers, great shakes and a total trip back in time to the old burger joints. This isn't a place to go if you are trying to watch what you can eat but if you can cheat on your diet, this is the place to do it!

This place totally takes you back. Great shakes and a variety of greasy burgers. Hardly any seating at all but the atmosphere is small town drive in type.

I've worked in Lake Oswego for several years and driven by this place 1000 times. I finally decided to give it a shot and came away disappointed. The hamburger patty is small, and gets dwarfed by the bun and toppings. All of the component were bland, and furthermore the burger fell apart in my hands. The fries were passable but nothing special. The banana milkshake was also thoroughly mediocre. The best thing I can say is that at least the ingredients all seemed fresh, but who cares when there's no flavor? And also, there's no excuse for running a CASH ONLY business in this day and age. McDonald's is only a block away, and that's honestly a better experience.

- Cons: bland food, no charge cards accepted, small and dingy interior

I heard so much about this INFAMOUSE GIANT BURGER! Then one night I decided to go with my friends. YAY! As three Satified customers walked out All I had was high hopes! I Prayed to God for a great Burger. And that's just what I got. They had everything I ever dreamed on a buger and even more. They weren't lying when they say SPECALITY!!!! My friend got a deliciouse BLUE Cheese burger and steak fries YUM!! My sister and I both got a JALAPINO Burger!! Better than Whataburger,and In- and -out. GREAT SERVICE Going back soon!! I HIGLY RECOMMEND!!
- Pros: TONS Of parking,great service.
- Cons: Not so updated ambience OLD SCHOOL! But nice.

The service was spectacular! Especially that little Lacey! What a dream! She was so friendly and speedy and she smiled even though the place was packed to overflowing! The food was first rate. The teryaki burger was the best tasting food I have ever had the pleasure of devouring! It was cooked to perfection and the veggies were as fresh as the day they were harvested. And the fries were out of this world! Hot and crispy on the outside and tender and tasty on the inside. My friend had the mushroom burger and she thoguht she had died and gone to heaven, (we can only hope the food there is this good when we do die off!) Awesome employees, great food! What could be better? Nob Hill has NOTHING on this joint! And don't believe the bad reviews! Those people wouldn't know a good burger if it walked up and slapped 'em across the face!!!
No clue what all the fuss is about.

I've read raves about this place, the "giant' burgers and the specially-made buns.
I ate there - and I have no clue whatsoever as to what all the fuss was about. I was the only person there, and they still got the order wrong. The bun was hard and stale, and the burger was sub-par even compared to a Whopper from Burger King. The fries were OK but nothing to write home about.
On a personal note, the "god" sign up front on the cash register is a bit off-putting for those who aren't christians, so I would not go back for that alone - but since the food is lousy, I have other reasons not to return as well.
- Pros: Prompt service - no one was there
- Cons: The prompt service brought lousy food and not what I ordered.

Since the day Giant opened in the early '70's, it has had the best hamburgers in the city. It was always the place for us to go in high school, and whenever we make it back to Lake Oswego. It's up there with the In & Out's of California, and the Burgerville USA's of Portland.
