I have been going to this salon for the last 3 years now. I love my stylist, Aubrey, she does know exactly what I want, even if sometimes, I choose two styles from a magazine and tell her that I want something between the two, she always makes me happy with the cut. On my trip to Italy in 2005 I had received compliments on my hair, I had visited Aubrey right before I left, for a cut and color. When it comes to color, Aubrey does a great job also. When Aubrey is not available, I go to Steve which is also a great stylist. I like this salon and mostly, I wouldn't change Aubry as my stylist. If you want a great stylist, one that gets it right, check Aubry out...you won't be sorry.

A good choice

I am a 30 yo professional woman who just moved to Portland. After many moves, I know it's hard to find a good stylist in a new town. I had a referral from a buisness associate and tried out the Ritz. I thought the salon was excellent... nice atmosphere, friendly staff and I got a great haircut and style for about 40 dollars, which was just about what I wanted to spend. The salon atmosphere felt clean and crisp and professional, yet laid back without a lot of attitude... and it smelled great, which I like in a salon. Plus the stylists lease space there, so they actually get the haircut money you pay them.

I will definately be going back (I saw Marjie).
