I have used Northwest Nannies for over a year. Every nanny I have had has been wonderful. I have a challenging three year old and a one year old. The nannies come with activities and fun things to do. The staff has been very helpful, especially with last minute placements. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this agency.

We used 4 different students from this nanny school and each one was bad bad bad. They were rude, untrustworthy and had terrible manners. One of them even brought a book to read while my daughter was playing at the park. The customer service is very bad, the person who owns the agency only cares about the fee charged and is very very rude. It is clear to me that the school is just a way to make money and they have no interest in real childcare or in helping families to find trustworthy and excellent childcare.

Cons: Do not use this service ever!!

I reserved a babysitter three weeks in advance for three days in a row while my family was in Portland. Although I called to confirm that someone was coming twice, but nobody showed up. I called the evening answering service three times and nobody returned my call. The next day I called Northwest Nannies and they gave me a big run around. They claim that the answering service never contacted them (the answering service claims that they called three times) and the sitter went to the wrong hotel and had my cell phone number wrong so she could not call me. They also informed me that the sitter that was scheduled for the next day was in the hospital and they were having trouble finding someone. Needless to say, I was fuming and insisted that someone show up, even if it was the director after the fisasco the previous night. They ended up sending the temporary nanny scheduler. I will not ever use this service again.
