(Sorry it took me so long to review!) I planned a surprise birthday for my boyfriend in April. I decided that it would be great fun to invite all of his friends over and wake him up with a van and an all day trip. Ecotours let me pay for four up front and then each additional person that came just had to call them and give them their credit card number (so helpful, I didn't have to worry about getting stuck with the bill). They were very accomadating to our crazy group and even let us stop to grab some breakfast! I got to choose some wineries that we went to and then he planned the last two and lunch at an amazing place in Dundee. The driver was so friendly and funny and knowledgeable! And after our group had a bit too much wine and were a little bit tipsy, he just laughed and joked around with us! What a splendid birthday! Thanks to Ecotours, it turned out better than I could have even imagined!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Pros: Amazing guide! Comfy van! Many options!
Cons: NONE!

Excellent tour of Portland area!!! I have been traveling to Portland for quite a while now, although it is always been job related. This time I had the opportunity to spend the weekend, and my idea of a private tour really paid off. The tour was affordable, only 52.00 US dollars, and pickup location was very convenient. In addition, Jeff was very knowledgeable, and managed to make the tour very interesting. My favorite part was Mt Hood timber line, which was quite an amazing site to visit. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone.
Pros: many sites visits!!!
Cons: maybe a bit more time to explore on your own :-)

Having just returned from a wonderful day of doing a wine tour with Ecocountry tours ,our guide Jeff was just wonderful , he was punctual on picking us up in fact he was running early which I think is great :) Jeff was very knowledgeable about the wineries and the wines and also the local area too :) Jeff took us to Erath and Duckpond and then he took us over to charlton wine studio . Whilst on route to the various wineries he would give us a history of the winery and often had an amusing story to tell. I and my husband had a wonderful day and fully recommend this tour with Jeff and Eco country tours to any and all friends and family and any one else who enjoys good company and wine :) Hugs Anne & Noam Arad

We just did this tour and loved it. Our guide was really cool. He knew lots of local stuff. Not just facts but things about environmental issues and local gossip. He also knew all the best spots and all about the behavior of the whales so we could spot them easily. You could tell he was really passionate about what he did and that he wanted to share it with you. All along the way he had radio recordings of programmes about whales and the area. He also had maps and info sheets for all the things he told us. It was really interesting and not boring like so many tours can be. The guide was really open to questions and because the group was so small (four people) it was easy to find out what you wanted to know. The sights up this way were breath taking and even if we hadn't seen whales it would have been worth the trip. We also saw seals and all kinds of birds not to mention the coastline itself. Would love to go on their wine tour next! It really was a choice trip and i highly recommend it.
Pros: Small group, good guide, beautiful sights, good value.
