London Influence

It's been 10 years since I had been to London Influence. But I remember I never had a disappointing haircut or color so I made an appointment to get my seriously shaggy mop cut and colored. Erin was great. She took her time with my haircut and color and it looks fabulous. Prices are very reasonable. Again, I wasn't disappointed and I'll be back!

Pros: Very knowledgeable, very reasonable prices

Cons: nada, zip, none, zero!

I am new to town & visited John a few weeks ago, per my co-worker's recommendation. Wow, am I happy I heeded her advice! He completely transformed the texture & health of my hair, and provided me with the most brilliant color I have ever had. I have really dark hair. I have always wanted either chocolate brown hair or soft brown hilights. I have always left the salon with orange hair of one shade or another. I had heard about Robert from some Asian friends of mine who all have beautiful brown hair, only to find out it was Robert's doing. I went and saw for myself, the magic he can do with really dark hair. I left with an amazing and beautiful brown with the slightest gold highlights. I am the happiest girl in PDX. I have finally found my hairdresser. Thanks Robert for giving me what I have always wanted.

Hayley is by far the best stylist I have ever used. I used to go to supercuts, then Hair M, then I randomly walked into London Influence. Hayley always asks, what do you like or not like about your hair, every time. You know that you can walk in there and she'll listen to what you're trying to do and then do it. I wanted short hair for about a year and recently decided to grow it out a little. She's advised me on how to style it and she's meticulous about details. I can tell she's paying attention and cares about her clients. If you're looking for a high quality cut, give Hayley a try. I used to be picky about my hair but now I know that Hayley will make me look good and I have complete faith in her. Keep up the good work Hayley!

Pros: Hayley, occasional offering of scotch, reminder phone call 2 business days before cut.

We are lucky at PDXposed to have London Influence as our hair sponsor. No matter which stylist does our hair, we always get the same high quality style and service that they are known for. Jon usually has Charles do his hair, for me, it is Erin and Sarah. I have been feeling *daring* in the last year or so, and have felt the need to change it up...a lot. They have given me some very trendy new colors, and every DAY people come up to me and comment on it. I was varying shades of vibrant gorgeous red...and I do mean RED for about a year and this fall we took it dark, with jewel tones of purple and blue, very unique, 'in the moment' and I LOVE IT! Everyone wants what they can't have, and for this curly haired girl...it is shiny, straight, flowing hair. Sarah gives that to me all the time, at least once a week! The products she uses on my hair are the highest quality, even with all my color changes my hair still looks healthy and alive. She knows my hair so well, I don't have to tell her what I need, I can put my trust in her to use her own judgment and I have never been disappointed. I always get great haircuts, and the one I got last night is perfect. My ends look thick and healthy, and my hair is layered enough so it has the right amount of movement. She is always so accommodating to my schedule, very professional, and has the sweetest disposition ever. I would highly recommend her. Julie, Production Manager, PDXposed

I just went in and saw Robert for the first time. Now I have been to a lot of salons in portland, most a lot fancier than London Influence. But I must say, I have never had as great a haircut or color. So what does all that fluff at the other places get you? Same priced services, less quality hair. If I want fancy teas, I know where to get them. When I visit a salon, I want the best hair possible. Thank you Robert for exceeding my expectations. My hair hasn't been this good probably ever. Be prepared to be a lot busier, all my girlfriends want to see you now.

I can't believe I ever went to Dosha! If you want a professional with years of experience to draw from and not some 22 year old with 7 months on her resume, John Newbury is the man for you! Who cares if you don't get organic tea and a hand massage, that is just fluff the other places use to disguise their lack of expertise. No need for bells and whistles here. I love my new haircut.

I have been seeing the same stylist in town for years. Lately I felt a bit taken for granted and my look was getting dated. My guy just didn't seem to want to change my hair, so I ended up looking for a new one. I had heard from friends about Robert and looked up the reviews here on citysearch. He did such a great ob on my hair, it was amazing. I look and feel great. I get compliments on my hair everyday now. My only complaint is that I wished I had scheduled time for color with him, I was too scared to do both with a new guy. So now I have to wait a few weeks to get that done. Oh well, it will be well worth it I am sure. Thanks Robert for giving me a great haircut and I look forward to getting my new and improved color.

Honestly, I love her. I've been going to Rebecca at London Influence for quite awhile now and she has never disappointed me. In fact, every single time I'm done visiting the salon, I strut down the street feeling like the most fabulous woman in the entire world. And I'm kid you not, the boys definitely stare... AT MY HAIR! It's because Rebecca works her magic, and my hair is so soft and shiny, I can never get it to look like that myself! I swear, I'm never going anywhere else again... She is AMAZING. Thanks Rebecca!

I recently decided to try Robert after reading the reviews on here. I was fortunate to be able to get in on a cancelation, so I didn't have to wait the usually long time I hear it can take. I was so glad to get in and after the haircut and color, even happier. I have been in PDX for around 9 years now, and have never found anyone here who could give me a great cut. But that was until last week. Robert gave me the best cut I have had in so long. It looks great, is easy to style and the few products I picked up work just like he said. He was worth everything I spent. I thank him and so does my hair.
