This place always has good music and is up front and personal. The crowd is fun, the drinks are amazing. Being downtown parking can be dicey but there is always a lot close by that will take car of you.
Good place to go downtown
by Rockpicken at Citysearch
Love to go to the bar on the east side of the block, and have been to musical shows on the west side... both are good places to go and party down. The food's good at the restaurant and it's a great place to kick off an evening of running around downtown.
- Pros: Great service, decent prices
- Cons: It's downtown........
good pool tables

This again, is a good happy hour place. goes from 4 to7 i believe. The pool tables are free and the drinks are strong! Well worth your money. The Copper floors are a nice added touch to the decore of the place.
- Pros: happy hour
- Cons: slow service
I love this place.

On the weekends they sometimes play some old school late 90's rap and r&b but it is a great dance and meeting place. Great atmosphere.
- Pros: Great music most of the time
- Cons: Gets crowded
This happening lounge and cafe offers live music in the heart of downtown's nightlife district.

In Short
Entering from Second Avenue, suburbanite singles and hip music fans coexist in the dim, echoing lounge. There's space for a long bar, dining tables and a sizable pool room. The Third Avenue doorway leads to the the dark, cavernous nightclub, complete with two full bars, stage, lights and sound system. Pan (the nightclub) books some of the most popular alternative acts that come through town. DJ dance parties fill in the off-nights.
Bad Experience Turned Us Away!

I used to go here for Happy Hour with several co-workers. Their Happy Hour deals are great, and we'd often stay even later (aka--spending more money). That all stopped one night when we ordered some drinks 20 minutes before the end of happy hour and were charged full price. When we confronted the waitress, she told us "happy hour goes by THEIR clock", then proceeded to ask if I wanted another "drinky-poo" and make fun of my order to the bartender. As I shared the story with my co-workers, she came and put her arm around me and asked if I had a problem. We then put down our money (minus tip) and left. We never went back.
fun place to hang out
by kienbien at Citysearch
Not a super chic bar but a fun one for sure. all kinds of people, beautiful, trendy, alternative, older, whatever. its for everyone. good loud music sets the atmosphere and the drinks I've had have always been good... and strong. but they are spendy. an AMF is 8 bucks. love the outdoor seating and people watching.
- Pros: outdoor seating, unpretentious, hotties
Look before you leap!

Have your beers ahead of time, fifteen clams a pitcher can be a real drag, unless your wallet is getting way to heavy to carry around. Great place to see a show otherwise.
- Pros: Good Stage View, Decent Sound, Quick Service
- Cons: Drink Prices, Parking
Excellent Staff and Customers

Wife and I went here, and had a great time. Friendly atmosphere, good vibes and all around good feel. Were the 40+ crowd and we melted in with the 20's people greatly
- Pros: Friendly
on its way . . .

This is an awesome location w/ great potential. The artwork on display in the restaurant is always uniquely attractive bringing a modern creative element to the classic layout. Bar waits tend to run long, with the service ranging from great to down right rude! The happy hour food and free pool are worth dropping in for. I look forward to seeing this place reaching a balanced state.
- Pros: excellent space, crowd variety
- Cons: pricey, rude service, long waits
