IndiYUM food

I frequent the carts on Fifth quite a bit and this is one of my favorites. What motivated me to write this review is that I just experienced a new dish there called 'vegetable khorma.' Oh my *&^ it was good. This was better than most dishes found in sit-down Indian restaurants. If you don't mind taking your food back to the home or office, or eating outside you should put this on your list of places to check out. I also HIGHLY recommend their 'chicken makani' and their daily lunch specials. Most dishes on the menu cost around $5-6 and usually leave you with enough left-overs for the following day or enough to share. Check it out and enjoy!

• Pros: the food if great!
• Cons: it's a cart, so no sitting. I also find that their nan bread can be a little to crispy(burnt) for my taste

can i please move this cart to my back yard?

i live out in clackamas now but i dont hesitate to drive half an hour just to pick up some food from this cart and drive back. its totally worth it! its authentic and delicious and it does taste stright up indian..better then most sit down indian places i have been to and much much cheaper, the lamb curry is on my list of things i cant live without.

Yeah, It's a Cart... and???

Taste of India... yes, it is. Look, you don't expect much when you approach this low-rent cart. Good. You will be blown away. Go into it with an open mind. Excellent authentic food at amazing prices (a truckload of dinner at dirt cheap prices!!!). Unlike at some local Indian restaurants, the staff here is 100% Indian. Friendly, helpful, and so very Indian. I couldn't say enough about this amazing cart. I have never been disappointed! Yes, sometimes I prefer this to a real sitdown restaurant...

• Pros: Quality!, Excellent prices!, Great portions!
• Cons: none!
