Semi-hidden Gem. Never had a bad meal. We were shocked at how great the food is.

Cocktails made with care. This place is a treasure. The bartenders are master craftsmen/women. The classic cocktails are a must here. If I could, I would be waiting at the door everyday at 4pm to catch the amazing happy hour menu.

Great food any time of night. What is all of this about late night?!!! Great food is great food and can be enjoyed any time of day. My husband and I went about 6. Yes, it was quiet but we went to eat! I had the short ribs and he had the halibut. We thought we'd died and gone to heaven. This food is addictive! Very reasonably priced and definitely worth the money.

Go for the late night menu. I went to Cassidy's for the first time last week for their late night happy hour and ordered a chicken sandwich. I couldn't believe a chicken sandwich could be that delicious. The bread was hearty, the spinach was really fresh and there was some kind of sauce on it that I couldn't get enough of. I had that amazing sandwich and a beer for about ten dollars. I wouldn't be surprised if I start going there after work at least once a week from now on.

A Bit of San Francisco in Portland. We love this place with their romantic high wooden booths. The onion soup is the best in the world, very addictive, we have it each time we go there, great salads also. Yummmm !

Legendary for serving spirits and sustenance with style, this classic eatery remains locals' favorite.. In Short
Vintage, dark-wood refrigerators and heavy leaded glass present a facade of gravity and authority in a bar better known for late-night madness. Known for having the last of last calls, this spot is a favorite among bar and restaurant workers. The fare is quite good and shouldn't be overlooked. The menu features steamed mussels in chipotle, coconut milk and vegetable broth as well as lamb shank braised in veal stock, port and cider.

Yummy. the food was pretty awesome, a little bit on the pricy side, but definetly delicious. i love the oysters! my group was seated kind of near the bar so the smoke was in our neck of the woods, so i would reccommend non-smokers to sit away from the bar. the service was awesome, our waitress was very on task. very serene atmosphere laid back, very comfy.

Excellent Value. Cassidy's is our favorite bar in Portland. We also had our wedding rehearsal dinner there... we asked for appetizers, entrees, and desserts for 30 people for under $1,000 and they overdelivered. Value is definitely there. Great calamari, mac and cheese, seafood, drinks... reasonably priced and in a classic, friendly, bar scene... ambience is perfect. Well done.

Late night hang out.... This place has become a favorite for the Portland Geocaching community. Great brew, great service, and quite possibly the best calimari in town. Not much parking in the area, but it's just a short walk from the Max, so no big deal...

You don't know Cassidy's?. In a city of trendy and spot-of-the-moment bars and restaurants, Cassidy's is a refreshing departure. Enter, and be reminded of a time before attitude was a requisite for waitstaff--a time when style and substance shared top billing. Excellent food, great service, solid cocktails, and an atmosphere that engulfs you with warmth all contribute to the feeling of having had a vintage Portland experience.
