I stumbled into southpark last week while shopping downtown with my mother and grandmother. We were blown away, the lunch menu was great even my picky eighty year old grandma was pleased. Intersesting wine list and our server greg was charming. ill be back for dinner.

I went to Southpark for my first time and Enjoyed the cuisine. I made my reservations 2 weeks in advance and ask for a booth because i was on a first date and wanted to have a LITTLE privacy. When we got there we were seated at the SMALLEST table i have ever seen. Other than that the service was amazing and Enjoyed there selection of wine. I will go back but i will Demand a booth.

Pros: Wine list, Service

Cons: Small tables (get a booth)

I work nearby yet had never been, so on a whim my coworker and I went to Southpark for lunch today. I had what was by far the best hamburger I've had since moving to Portland. I'm in heaven right now.

Pros: ambience, service, food quality

Cons: price is a little high, but I think worth it

I stopped by at 2pm to have some lunch. It was very relaxing and no crowds. My server recommended the Italian "Sub" sandwich. I thought it odd to have this on the menu, but went for it. It was so flavorfull and tasty. The bread was fresh, tender and just the perfect outside crust. Give it a try.

The thing I liked most about SP was it's ambience. Being there made us feel like we were really "out on the town". The food was good enough for me. The Duck Risotto with cranberries was delicious and unique. The bar staff was professional, efficient, and friendly. The Oysters were fresh and the wine was perfectly paired. The bar staff gets two thumbs up!

Pros: Great Ambience

Cons: Sometimes too busy

Southpark is, well, just o.k. I went to their bar recently and was very underwhelmed. One of the things I look at is the wine glasses... they weren't rimless... and the crowd was very "suburbia" mixed with people who think they are all that. I've had better food dishes in the area -- and the waitstaff was very unattentive and uninterested.

We went to Southpark last night for the third time. The first two I ate in the main restaurant, and the food was amazing. I love the wine list! It is so clever. Last night we grabbed a bite in the wine bar. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was by far the best burger I have had in a LONG time. Absolutely delicious. Great service. Great wine.

Relaxing ambience, plenty of tables. The food was good but I especially like the presentation. Big bar and several wine flights. There were a lot of interesting looking seafood dishes, although I had a filet, which was very good. A nice bar seating are is availaible for those not willing to wait for a table and its non-smoking.

Pros: great ambience and wine

Cons: wine selection could be more broad

We met for Sunday lunch with friends and baby. The comfortable atmosphere, other children and families fit our ideas. The food is corporate and not especially exciting, but completely passable. The bloody mary's were spicy, which is good for some (like me). Service was the only thing that seemed a bit lacking, perhaps our server was ready to go home (it was a later lunch), but please refill my coffee just once? Overall, it's a place I plan to take my visiting parents who appreciate predictable food and a quiet experience.

Great wine selection, really good food and the bar service is the best anywhere in town! Felt like we were in Europe having a fine dinning experience, but with excelent service.
