This is the best toy store I have ever been to. It has hiqh quality, well-made toys of every kind. There is also a small, but nice, book area. This is not to be missed.

This toy store is in downtown Portland, right by the MAX line and the downtown library. They have wonderful toys that promote imagination and learning. You won't find lots of commercial, plastic toys here. Many of their toys are wooden or made to be longlasting. They have a huge Thomas the Tank selection and lots of Groovy Girls. They have books, a huge infant section, and a bunch of bathtime books and toys. They have dollhouses, stuffed animals, and Kettler trikes. I could spend $100's at this store easily! Do not miss it!

Finnegan's has some of the coolest toys ever. They've got great stuff for kids and all sorts of fun stuff for adults too. There's no better place if you're shopping for small gifts or stocking stuffers, and If you're ever hanging around down town and have nothing else to do, spend some time acting like a dork in Finnegan's.

It's so much more pleasant to shop here than at a big chain, and they have higher-quality toys. You pay more for that, but I think it's worth it. They have a nice big selection, and hold more interesting and quirky items than you'll find in a usual toy store. It's also conveniently located on the MAX line, and near Central Library, so it's great to bring your kids.

This is a wonderful toy store - possibly the best in the area. We try to visit whenever we are downtown. There is something for every age, every interest and lots to play with and test out before buying. Educational toys, goofy toys, fun toys - you name it, you can find it here!
My kids love going here and it is very hard to leave empty handed!
PROS: Selection, helpful staff
CONS: None!

This is the greatest toy store. Sort of the anti-chain store, if you know what I mean? So many fun discoveries, and you seem to be welcomed to explore with so many of the toys...makes the trip downtown worthwhile for my kids!

Every time I visit this wonderful place I am in awe... i don't know where to go first, and I always leave (sometimes hours later) with something FUN!
Something for every kid: educational toys, hard-to-find games, great books, uniques & classics!
PROS: If it's hard to find, most likely it's Here! Informative, friendly staff.
CONS: Absolutely Nothing...!

This place is amazing. When I lived in Portland, I shopped here regularly for fun gag gifts. It's definitely the kind of place where you can get hung up browsing (and walk away with all kinds of funny things you didn't expect to buy). Now that I have a child, I wish that I could still visit. My son would be thrilled!
- Pros: selection, prices
- Cons: parking
