Cozy corner atmosphere... new twists on the staples

We went to Lucy's for my birthday on a Wednesday night and had a lovely meal and courteous service. Our waitress was really kind and knowledgeable about the menu and the wines that could accompany the food. Ambience is really cute and cozy - I recommend reservations so you can get a table you'd prefer. It was still daylight when we dined so we were grateful for a window seat right at the corner or 21st.
We liked the Lucy's Plate which was a sampler of the chef's choice of a few starters - at $12 it is a good value to try some interesting special apps before dinner. They had a great wine selection of international and locals. Two of us had the rib eye, which was delicious... served familiarly but with some unexpected pears and savory cabbage across potatoes. I would have preferred more veggies, but the taters were really smooth and tasty. My father in law enjoyed his meal as well - I think it was a shrimp and scallop citrus dish. I did not try it, but it looked and smelled really nice!
I think some others have written about the dishes being on the small side with not enough food - You'd have to be used to buffets to think about that... Yes, the apps might have been smaller but it was the preparation and the presentation you're paying for. The entrees, however, were large. My mother in law could not finish hers! Lots of food.
For what we ordered, I think the prices are relatively normal at Lucy's compared to other restaurants serving similar dishes in the area. Check it out.. the menu changes so each visit will likely be a nice surprise!
- Pros: Cute little unassuming spot in the heart of NW
- Cons: Parking might be tough if you're not into the valet

We finally made it to dinner here and were rewarded with a terrific experience. Our waitress, Stacy, was fantastic and really added to the pleasure my wife and I experienced dining at Lucy's Table. The atmosphere, decor, food and service all exceeded our expectations. We can't stop sharing all of the positives with our friends. We will definitely come back for more!
- Pros: goat cheese ravioli was incredible
- Cons: cannot think of any

When folks visit from out of town, we take them to Lucy's Table. When we want to have a romantic night out, we head to Lucy's Table. When friends want to meet up for a fun and tasty happy hour, we meet at Lucy's Table. This Portland gem has it all. A superior menu and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. It doesn't matter that Lucy's Table is all the way across town, I would drive almost anywhere to eat at what has easily become my favorite dining spot in town.
- Pros: The menu!!! The staff!!!
- Cons: parking

Went here for our 25th anniversary with 3 other couples. Everyone had something different and everyone enjoyed their dish. I has the wild boar ravioli and it was delicious but my friend had the rib-eye and it was amazing! Service was excellent. I recommend ordering the Ghost Pines red wine with your dinner. It has become a favorite of our. We are going back tonight for Valentine's dinner and I am ordering the rib-eye. The pommegranite baby back ribs are also amazing!
- Pros: Food, service, wine list
- Cons: small

Lucy's Table was a pleasure from start to finish. The pomegranate baby back ribs were a great appetizer and our main courses (wild boar ravioli and citrus marinated scallops and prawns were excellent too.

Amazing!
Great cocktails, good service, nice entrees. But the whole reason that you should head on in to Lucy's Table is for the Goat Cheese Ravioli.
You will not be disappointed.

Lucy's Table is a very nice little restaurant up on NW 21st. The food quality is exceptional. We had a small company dinner there and I was impressed. I would go back.

Great place! Food is fabulous, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere perfect. Only minor complaint is that the small plates were just a bit larger than we had anticipated, but that's a very minor complaint indeed. Wait staff was superb - knew the wine list and recommendations were spot on. Wine flights would be great and chefs recommended special would complete what is already a near perfect menu. Would we repeat? No question that we will!

Our group of 4 had a great assortment of food- we tried the roasted romaine heart salad, beet salad, mescaline greens and the goat cheese ravioli. All dishes included fresh and local ingredients. They were all top rate- the ravioli's would be our top recommendation. We tried the risotto, ribs, rib-eye and the boar ravioli. Again- all excellent. The service was appropriately paced, the noise level perfect for a conversation. We are conisseurs of fine food and are from the San Francisco area. This food and service was by far the most excellent we've had in Portland and up in the top 3 of our favorite restaurants (including SF). $4 valet parking made it convenient and simple.
- Pros: Wine list, valet parking, great food
- Cons: chairs a bit uncomfortable (but the pro was that we were able to sit for so long and enjoy!)
