TRY the GOAT CHEESE RAVIOLI
by foodsleuth at Citysearch
Amazing!
Great cocktails, good service, nice entrees. But the whole reason that you should head on in to Lucy's Table is for the Goat Cheese Ravioli.
You will not be disappointed.
Great simple food, from local growers

A short weekend away in Portland led us to make reservations at Lucy's. I am a big time foodie, and wanted a couple of places that really said what Portland was about foodwise. We got exactly what we expected - a great little bistro that was pumping with activity, fabulous food, and great service.
The lamb dish I had was cooked perfectly, and was simply just lamb, jus, and roasted potatoes. My wife had a hawaiian seabass with Israli couscous, which was equally as good. Some of the best lamb I have ever had.
- Pros: Great food and service
- Cons: Busy
Charming night spot

This place is very nice. Dates will feel special and the food is awesome. Try the Lavender Creme Brulee for desert and you'll crave it about once a month. Make reservations, though, because it's a popular place.
- Pros: FOOD, DRINKS, SERVICE, AMBIENCE
- Cons: parking, but that's 21st for ya.
Cozy corner atmosphere... new twists on the staples

We went to Lucy's for my birthday on a Wednesday night and had a lovely meal and courteous service. Our waitress was really kind and knowledgeable about the menu and the wines that could accompany the food. Ambience is really cute and cozy - I recommend reservations so you can get a table you'd prefer. It was still daylight when we dined so we were grateful for a window seat right at the corner or 21st.
We liked the Lucy's Plate which was a sampler of the chef's choice of a few starters - at $12 it is a good value to try some interesting special apps before dinner. They had a great wine selection of international and locals. Two of us had the rib eye, which was delicious... served familiarly but with some unexpected pears and savory cabbage across potatoes. I would have preferred more veggies, but the taters were really smooth and tasty. My father in law enjoyed his meal as well - I think it was a shrimp and scallop citrus dish. I did not try it, but it looked and smelled really nice!
I think some others have written about the dishes being on the small side with not enough food - You'd have to be used to buffets to think about that... Yes, the apps might have been smaller but it was the preparation and the presentation you're paying for. The entrees, however, were large. My mother in law could not finish hers! Lots of food.
For what we ordered, I think the prices are relatively normal at Lucy's compared to other restaurants serving similar dishes in the area. Check it out.. the menu changes so each visit will likely be a nice surprise!
- Pros: Cute little unassuming spot in the heart of NW
- Cons: Parking might be tough if you're not into the valet
Quiet romantic atmosphere

Went there recently. Menu was interesting. We had ribs for appetizer, the postion was good, enough to share, and very flavorful. Lam chop was a little on the smaller side, but extremely good. Steak was exellent! Service was good overall. I would recommend this place.
Wonderful Ambiance

If you're looking for a sensual and cozy place for a first or second date, Lucy's Table would be a good choice. With its plush interior and great NW wine list, Lucy's Table offers good food in a superb atmosphere.
The wait staff is very helpful and accommodating. While there recently, one of the members of my party mentioned to his seatmate that the pork he was eating was good, but seemed just a little dry. The server overheard, and did not charge for the pork even though my friend had not meant for the server to hear his comment. This is a sign of a restaurant that truly cares what it customers think.
Rumor has it that the happy hour here is VERY good.
- Pros: Valet Parking, Atmosphere
- Cons: Can spend a lot of money if not careful
A Northwest neighborhood darling for romance and rustic comfort food.

In Short
Guests are transported into a cozy epicure's haven framed by gilded walls and black-velvet drapes. Subdued lighting and soft background music set the scene for romance, while white-clothed tables with a candle are inviting. The menu highlights American cuisine with Italian and French influences. Items include baked artichoke with Dungeness crab, scallops and pesto hollandaise, goat cheese ravioli and duck breast with chanterelle flan. Flourless chocolate cake dessert with house-made whipped cream makes a nice finish.
I Love Lucy

On a recent Saturday evening we had the pleasure of dining at Lucy's Table. We have not been since the change in ownership and were pleasantly surprised to find the changes are very subtle. The food was excellent. We were happy to see my husband's favorit Boar Ravioli was still on the menu. My chicken was excellent. I especially liked the dressing. What can I say about the Boca Negro. The chocolate dessert is creamy and rich. We are going back again.
- Pros: Food quality, menu choices, wine list
- Cons: Parking
I Love Lucy's
by commeca at Citysearch
OK, "love" is too strong. Over the past year my partner and I averaged a visit a month. Lucy's could do very well in any sophisticated city in America... consistently prepared, imaginative, very tasty food made with superior ingredients with very occasional, few-and-far-between stumbles. That's a high recommendation since we usually dine with at least one other person and often another couple (it's a fave for out-of-towners). We're regularly with our large, well-behaved dogs (outdoors, of course) and the staff's reaction to thems is as friendly and unforced as it is with humans. Lucy's is not inexpensive but we've had far less for more money at several local spots that rate highly with critics and the public. The wine list's variety and price polnts are an asset. We really, really like Lucy's and recommend it warmly, especiallly the oysters, the ribs, and the rabbit.
- Pros: Food quality, Service, Wine list/pricing
- Cons: Parking, Pricey for some, Can feel crowded
Cozy, good food, exceptionally expensive
by vector48 at Citysearch
A small restaurant, you'll be able to hear everyone else's conversations, but this doesnt really detract from the atmosphere. It is cozy. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. The menu has many good options, from ravioli to several fish entres. Portion sizes are tiny. I dont know if that is what makes a restaurant 'upscale' but plan on spending 22$ for a cup of rice and a small piece of fish. While small, it will be cooked and presented well.
- Pros: staff, wine selection
- Cons: tiny portions, expensive
