At Bellini's I have spent the most soothing hour and a 1/2 of my life. As relaxing as getting a full body massage, and yet having my needs taken care of simultaneously. Each person I have seen there has been extremely knowledgeable and proffesional. Being a buisness owner myself, I understand the 24 hour cancellation pollicy and am happy to adhere as they are proffesional and fill the spot when they can and have not charged me for the appotintment. They are always providing an excellent service. It is a beautiful place and the remodel is tastefuly done in a tranquil way, condusive to relaxing. Thank you so much, and my skin loves you!

Pros: Parking is easy. Ambience fabulous. Staff knowledable and proffesional.

Consistently friendly and informative, Michelle is the best! She always greets me in the utmost of manners, personally recommends great Phytomer and Jurlique products, and all in all, a true asset for Bellini's! I don't currently go there for services, much too busy with my occupation, but every time my skin needs something, Michelle always offers great legendary customer service. So, thank you very much! You have me hooked! :)

Pros: Location, product selection, Michelle, etc.

Cons: none for now.

I've been going to Cate for brazillians for awhile now, and she is AWESOME. If you do decide to give the place a try - ask for her. However, I schedule my appts 6 weeks out (I schedule the next one the day I'm there) and sometimes thing happen in life. I've been sick, I've been stuck in a meeting - when you are a regular somewhere, it happens. Cate has had to cancel on me two or three times because she's been sick or out of town... and I don't mind a bit. But Bellini's won't extend the same courtesy to their customers. They have a 24 hour cancellation policy and they'll wave it for you twice. Now mind you, I never actually CANCEL... I just want to move the appointment. They are still going to get their money. That's not good enough. Today when I went to move my appointment out because I am sick - they told me that they needed a credit card to secure my appointment. I told them to stick it. I'm really going to miss Cate, she is awesome - but I can't do business with an establishment that won't be minimally flexible.

Recently I visited Bellini's spa and saw a wonderful esthetician. Stara was the most knowledgable, professional and friendly service I have ever received in a spa. With the wide selection of natural products, I was able to cure my skin problem by working closely with Stara and the products used at Bellini spa. I would reccomend her as an esthetician to anyone.

Pros: Best staff, great product

Cons: none

Being an esthetician in the Portland area (not at Bellini's), I must say, I have been going to Bellini's for my waxing services for many years (brazilians, brows), and it has been the best by far. Stara is amazing at waxing, and I have been her client for almost 4 years. I do not trust anyone else, honestly! She has delivered consistant service, as well as educating me on the various products they have (which is many... yonka, jurlique, skincueticals, true makeup etc..) Should I begin to tell you of the Dextox wrap I had with a facial? Absolutley devine. This spa is equipped with the essentails.. Products, knowledge, and a warm staff.

Pros: Educated staff, consistant services.

Cons: Parking lot is shared with Papa Hydens, so lock you space early!

I had a very good facial at Bellin's just over two years ago. I have since been back, but have not had another. I have had my eyebrows ruined by a woman named Starra, I would not reccomend her. She did such damage to them, it took me a little over 6 months to get them back to the way they were. It seems like ever couple of months I get a flyer in the mail saying informing me that one of their facialists working there was no longer and on my next visit I would receive 10% off. The turn-around at this place is just insane and to me is a bad sign. The last facial I had, was my last one ever at Bellni's. It truely was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at say spa (if you can call this place a day spa) The services they offer are horrible, and this is why I will not go back, nor will I recommend this place. They are very expensive, they always try to get you to buy many, many products in which they can't even explain what they do. I found that when I would ask question about a cream or a mask they didn't have the answer. Please don't waste your money here, you are better going to Rite Aid and getting a $3 mask and doing it yourself!

Thank you so much for your feedback on your recent visit to our spa. We always welcome our clients' comments and suggestions, as it is the best way for us to contiue to grow and improve as a business. Of course, we apologize for your disappointment with your recent service and are willing to redo the service if that is of interest to you. At Bellini's, we feel strongly that the products used to treat the skin are just as important as the treatments we offer. Therefore, our entire staff is extensively trained on product knowledge and receive continuous updates on the latest product information and technology. With this said, Bellini's carries five different product lines and strives to accomodate each individual's skin care needs. With subtle nuances between each line, it is ultimately up to the individual to decide which products best suit their needs. I hope this response has helped to clear up any misconceptions about our business, and thank you again for your feedback.

I visted Bellinis for a massage with my husband, he had a warm stone massage while I had a deep tissue. The staff was wonderful to us, my husband loved his massage but i left feeling a bit unimpressed. They treated us great but my massage seemed so routine and lifeless. It was the end of the day however and she may have been tired.

Pros: nice and quiet, great location

Cons: parking, small waiting area

After receiving a GC for a half day indulgence package (with lunch) for a present, I was VERY excited to start relaxing. When I called to make my appointment, the staff was very nice and worked with my schedule to make my day happen. I even added a 115 minute deep tissue massage to my package, thinking that I would get a deep tissue massage PLUS the aromatherapy massage that my GC included. When I walked in I was not greeted by the two girls standing behind the counter talking, but instead by someone that came out from the back and took me to the back room to wait. No one checked to see what I was having done or to give me a menu for lunch. It was the massage therapist who had to run out, get a menu for me and see that my lunch was ordered. (Which I only had about 5 minutes to eat since they didn't schedule any time for it.) Now, on to the massage....instead of having a 45 minute aromatherapy massage, a salt glow, then a 115 minute deep tissue massage, I had a 20 minute scrubbing of salt (which included my 10 minute shower) followed by the worst experience I have ever had. About 20 minutes in to the massage I kept feeling cool drips on my back, so I was thinking that maybe the massage oil was not warmed up. Um, no....upon opening my eyes and looking at the floor I saw PUDDLES of sweat. So she was dripping sweat all over me. Needless to say the rest of the massage was not enjoyable. I couldn't relax with her dripping cold sweat on my bare skin. Is that even sanitary? The facialist was very sweet, although the mud she put on my back was way too hot to lay on for almost 5 minutes. Anyway, for the price of the original GC, plus what I paid to add the massage, this half day was not worth over $400. I did mention something when I left and the receptionist told me it was not the first "dripping complaint" and that she would pass the message on to the owner who would contact me. It's been over a week and no one has even called.

Pros: Right off of 23rd

Cons: Read my review....

This has to be one of the best facials I've ever gotten. Lacey was very informative and offered great tips on taking care of my skin. She didn't push any products on me and seemed very genuine in her advice as to how I could best maintain my skin between appointments. I booked another appointment right then and there! I loved my skin post facial and unlike some facials I've gotten in the past, my skin looked and felt amazing. Oh and the warm booties...AMAZING! My only suggestion would be that mirrors be installed in the treatment rooms for those that receive facials and don't get directed to the restroom after their treatment. After my facial was completed, I was left to get dressed and try and make myself look presentable enough to walk out into the lobby to pay and walk onto NW 23rd unaware of what I looked like. I felt a little self conscious already with bare face, but to not know if I had red blotchy skin and hair faux pas was a little frustrating and sort of sent me out on the wrong note. I was able to use a tiny mirror on the make-up display in the lobby to see that I wasn't going to scare women and children, but it would have been nice to feel like I could look in the mirror in the treatment room.

Pros: Great products, knowledgeable esthetician, great location and bonus to have a parking lot in that area

Cons: No Mirror in treatment room.

I have been coming to Bellini's for a few years now and am always pleased with the overall experience. I have been to many other spas/salons for waxing treatments and am never remotely as satisfied as I am with my results at Bellini's. The staff is friendly, knowlegeable and I am never pushed to purchase products. They are genuinely concerned with my needs and go out of their way to make my experience positive. The atmosphere is soothing and the location is great. I live in Corvallis and drive all the way up to Portland for waxing services here! Yes, it is that good!
