This is such a wonderful place. You can go in and spend time with the animals that you are thinking about adopting. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.

Purebreds, mutts, puppies, kittens, rabbits, ducks, rodents--young and old, the Humane Society has them all for adoption.

OHS is a worthy charity

In the past six years alone I've adopted three dogs from the Oregon Humane Society. The new shelter on Columbia boulevard is pleasent for both the animals looking for a new home and the humans looking for an animal companion. The staff and volunteers make sure the person looking to adopt an animal will be able to properly care for it. If you're looking to add a dog or cat to your household the OHS should be your first stop.
