Great Neighborhood Joint

Waited a long time for this place to be non-smoking. We've always wanted a place to walk to from home for a cold beer or a quick burger after work. Since the 1st of the year, we stop by often. Just a nice place to hang out with friends - all the pnuts we can eat and pretty decent bar food.

• Pros: Can walk there, comfy place to have a beer

local bar nice atmosphere have a few poker machines. Fun shuffle board and pool table. It's got good activities and peanuts you can eat and throw on the floor. However. No matter what day it is there seems to be 1 person working the bar and a wait like sometimes upwards 5 min just to get a beer. Really? I could see if there was a party of 8 or something but there is one or 2 of us. Should be faster and not telling me I am the cook and the bartender. That's not my problem. I am there to be served. They should have 2 people working. Good times but wish it had better service

• Pros: fun peanuts to eat and throw on the floor.
• Cons: bad slow service.

like the atmosphere but.....

Really love to support local biz, but sometimes I found the customer service to be less then friendly, to bad cause it's close to my house. I have really alway liked the food for bar food and will probably give it a few more tries before I don't bother. I sure hope I have a better experience next time.

Great little Local Bar

The New Owners have really put some money into the Hutch remodle and it shows. The Hutch has shuffleboard a pool table, great bar food and great prices. It's right accross from Providence Portland Hospital so it gets a lot of employees for after work drinks. it has a reall local feel and has always been a great time for me and my friends.

• Pros: Shuffleboard, Great Bar selection, and great Prices.
• Cons: Small.
