Take Your Hard Earned Cash Somewhere Else
by TK0u812
If I could give a negative star, I would.
It started with a friend and myself, waiting at the bar while the bartender ignored us. We asked to sit on the patio and she looked at us like "duh". The first server was nice, but the last two were too busy and the "saloon" wasn't. Apparently if you sit outside, it's ok for them to repeatedly ignore you, forget your drinks (three times), upgrade you without asking and be very impatient when they're ending their shift. I understand, it's hard being a server. But when you treat the customer like they are such an inconvenience, especially when there is one other couple on the patio, that's just bad customer service. The food was lousy, the drinks watered down and the bathroom floor felt like it was going to collapse.
- Pros: Nice Patio
- Cons: Servers are too "busy"
UNCLEAN FOOD AND KITCHEN!
by wintersmith
Seriously this place is GROSS. They are unsanitary and unclean. No one washes their hands even though they smoke all of the time. The cooks smoke while working. The service is great but the owners are terrible. The food is pretty terrible as well.
DON'T GO HERE
- Pros: nice waitresses
- Cons: GROSS AND UNSANITARY
Good Happy Hour Food
by cmjoynt
They started a great new happy hour menu for $5. It's a really cool old building with tons of tv and great service. Drinks are very cheap too.
- Pros: Friendly Crowd
- Cons: Smokey
Housed in a building dating back to 1896, this sports bar exudes real saloon atmosphere.

In Short
When there's an important game on TV, space is at a premium in this popular bar. A full menu adds to sports-viewing enjoyment, as does the old-fashioned, brick-and-wood decor, which is a refreshing step up from the usual sports-bar look. East Bank offers all a standard bar menu, but also more upscale options. Good choices include the Louie salad or the daily seafood specials.
Good Soup
by us2lovebirds
we really liked their clam chowder, and deep-fried mushrooms. My husband and I would definately come here again. The only downside is that the service was pretty slow.
- Pros: good clam chowder, good fried mushrooms
- Cons: bad parking, slow service
does the trick
by robertcunnings
This place has been there forever. It sticks with the basics, good typical bar food, healthy drinks and TVs everywhere. Nice with out being stuck up.
- Pros: parking, fast service
- Cons: too smokey
Go for the patio
by jennifertom_citysearch
The food and service is OK, but this place is best visited in the summer, when the patio's open. Meet for drinks and maybe some snacks, then move on. I do like the saloon atmosphere, but food and service needs to improve.
- Pros: great patio
