Just another crappy dog. Growing up in the Midwest and East coast, I have frequented many great hot dog joints and this is far from it. Bland, over priced and low quality of product. They haven't knowledge to serve any of the great Polish, Chicago styles or Coney Dogs you'll find the back east. A trip to the other side might help them. Portland really gets excited about low quality food, it just shows this place has a long way to go to become a great food town. These dogs are nothing more than you'll find at PGE Park or at a high school basketball game. When I am looking for a great frank I want either Vienna Beef (Chicago style, go to Wayne's on MLK for that) or Nathan's (New York go to Super Dog on the Park Blocks for that). It's a riot how folks in Portland get so excited by putting goat cheese on a pizza or a handful of grass on a burger. I love Ptown for may reasons, but their knowledge of good food isn't one of them.

Thats a szexy hot dog!!!. Well, maybe not so much, but they?re great hot dogs! To be terribly generic; tasty, fresh, friendly, a good variety, and cheap to fill up your tummy! Not to mention the handy dandy drive up window (though its nice to park to spare your hot dog distributor of car fumes) and a tasty treat for your favorite pooch. However, a lesson learned the hard way? don?t procrastinate. They close early and run out of favorites quick!

If you like hot dogs, this is the place. You can get an ample amount of types of dogs and fixins, all put together quick while you wait and for a fair price. These are some of the best dogs I've eaten in years. Can't go wrong with a kosher beef frank with a little red/yellow and kraut on top. Grab a root beer and you are set for the day.

Curb Your Expectations. You're a vegetarian. You haven't had a good sausage in ten years. TEN YEARS. You hear about a veg-friendly hot dog shack. At last! you think. Naw. The veggie sausages are not good. But we're talkin' hot dogs here, not fine cuisine, and where else are you gonna get a veggie chili dog without the hassle and expense of making it yourself?

The Dog House Transcends "Good". Ah! The joy that is the Dog House! Carnivores and herbivores alike can rejoice and enjoy the heavenly pleasure that is a hot dog from the Dog House! The food here is not just good...It transcends good, placing itself on a level all by itself. I am in awe.
