Hipsters are destructive

Once upon a time, Buffalo Exchange was an excellent place to go for both new and used clothing. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good place to go but it's just not what it used to be. None of Portland's thrift stores are. My theory is that it's all of these hipsters moving here and selling their boring clothes. True, it's a bit overpriced but so is Goodwill and BE is much better organized as well as a heck of a lot cleaner. Sell them your clothes because I guarantee you'll find at least a pair of jeans to trade in for your old stuff.

Pros: well organized and always entertaining but you really must be someone who loves to shop

Cons: parking, hipsters

Editor's Review

Not quite a vintage boutique, not quite a thrift store: Chic clothes on these racks are the coolest castoffs around.  See the full editorial review.
