I only know ASI from a snowboarding point of view. It's a homegrown local business, so the selection is not huge. However...the knowledge, support, and friendliness of the staff by far exceeds anything that I have encountered shopping in the bigger chain shops. The guys live & breathe what they sell, but are very encouraging & supportive to beginners like myself. My advice: start with ASI and stick with them. They won't steer you wrong and you will get great service & support along the way.

know there stuff

I decided to get into kiteboarding and went to another place before hearing about ASI. I wish I knew about them from the start--these guys know their stuff, and the lessons I took from them were top notch! Worth every penny, and relatively inexpensive. The whole group there is very welcoming and friendly. Their prices tend to be high, but they do match competitor's prices. This company has earned my loyalty.

Good Stuff

I went to a surf vid. premiere there yesterday. It was good times. The staff seemed knowledgable and friendly. I'd suggest this place to everyone I know.
