WOW!

Rachael puts together the most amazing flowers every week for our office. After enjoying them weekly, I asked Rachael to arrange the flowers for a big party I was throwing. She delivered absolutely the most amazing flowers I've ever seen. The flowers were for a pink and lilac themed baby shower and Rachael delivered arrangements that looked like Dutch masterpieces: cascading tulips, orchids, hyacinth, andromeda, roses.... Plus she put together a wreath for my front door that was breathtaking. The value was incredible. Honestly, you've got to buy flowers from her to believe what beautiful arrangements she can make for such a reasonable price. Days later I am still enjoying them (and so are my co-workers; I brought them into my office). I just can't say enough in praise of the arrangements I see Rachael producing week after week and the flowers she delivered for me. Rachael is a treasure.

Neighborhood Treasure

I just moved to the ?Division / Clinton? area 6 mos. ago and have begun to make my rounds. I stopped into Fleur De Lis to check them out. When I stepped into the store it was packed with goodies. I got the cutest little handbag for my niece. Ok, I got a necklace for myself also. Anyway. I saw that they were making up a flower arrangement for someone and thought I would give them a try. Well, let me just say that when my mother got them she left me a 5 minute message ranting about the flowers. I have used them several time since then and they have never disappointed. I order a lot of flowers for than you gifts because of my line of work and have must say no one has come close to the style and service. I recommend them to all my friends and had to write a review of this great neighborhood treasure!

"I Love You Honey" "Thats The Most Amazing Thing I Have Ever Seen!" "Where Did You Get It?"

Let me start be saying that I have been married for 15 years. I am in a higher paying position at Nike, not to brag, so spending money on gifts for my wife has been the norm. On our 15th anniversary I was having a busy day and some how forgot to get a gift (I know, typical man). I rushed to my computer and typed in "floral Portland". I came across city search and Fleur de Lis sounded interesting and had good reviews. Oh by the way, it was on the way home. I called and spoke to Rachael and told her I was in desperate need of a beautiful arrangement. She asked if I had a budget in mind. I told her whatever it takes. She said any were from thirty-five dollars. I was surprised she started so low after I said, "what ever it takes" and told her one hundred dollars to be on the safe side. I arranged to pick it up after work. Wouldn't you know I get stuck in traffic on hwy 26. When I called Rachael to explain I was running behind she said, "Don't panic, I will wait for you to get here" When I arrived at Fleur de Lis I saw this amazing arrangement on the floor and told her I want that one no matter the cost and would still pay for the one I ordered. When she told me it was the one I ordered I could not believe it. The wrapping was great and the arrangement was phenomenal. When I got home my wife said that it was the most amazing thing she had ever seen. She thought I had it shipped in from somewhere and paid a fortune. I let her think that until the next day (I had my reasons).

Best Flowers and Floral Artists in Portland

Every time I get flowers here they are like nothing I have seen. They are classy, beautiful, alive, colorful and vibrant. The prices are very reasonable if not too reasonable for the beautiful and exotic flowers that they delicately arrange. I don't care what freeway you have to take to get here but it's worth it. People with outstanding taste will love this place. Inside there gift shop with eclectic jewelry, gifts and cards...all tasteful of course. This is the ONLY place in Portland that "Nails It," every time! Note to all men in Portland, buy your ladies flowers here the women in the shop will do all the work and you will get all the credit.

Beautiful shop and welcoming service.

I was sending a bouquet on a budget for a friend, and Rachel went out of her way to make sure they were sent. She was amazingly helpful and charming, and I would happily recommend her ot anyone. The shop itself was beautiful, decked with tempting trinkets that only added to the lush greenery they were nestled in, a great stop if you're shopping or dining on Division.

"Honey, how come these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen"?

I decided to use Rachael simply because she asked me to remember her on Valentine's Day and because I knew her. I took her up and I expected good but what I got was pure floral art! My wife (the recipient) was completely blown away by the arrangement she created. She called me (as always) and her exact words were; "Honey, how come these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen"? I guess they really got the attention of her co-workers and they were raving as well. When I finally saw them, I was stunned by the beauty and symmetry of the design. I don't want to go on too much about some flowers but they were that good! I was talking about them the next day on at least two occasions to others. I will be a Fluer DE LIS (Rachel Payton) customer from this day on. Her delivery was prompt, prices very fair and service was excellent! She is an artist who loves her work and it shows.

2nd year...not as big but just as good

Hi again-it's me, the person that posted a review back in January 2007. Yes, the time has come and gone and I celebrated my 2nd year wedding anniversary this month. One might think, be a little more creative, don't give the same gift to your wife that you did on your 1st year wedding anniversary. However, I say, if it's worked in the past why change? Rachael put together another arrangement for me, not as big as last year's but just a good. My wife was really happy.

Fleur DE LIS went the extra mile this time, literally - I owe you guys!! Keep up the good work!! I'm sure I'll see you again soon.

All you Hawthorne strollers, jump a few blocks over and stop into Fleur DE LIS, you'll be happy you did.

P.S. For those that wondered, I did give my wife more than just flowers this year, I'm a little more creative than that :-)
