I have been a client of Healthquest for many years, starting as a patient in the medical clinic seeing a chiropractor and acupuncturist after an auto accident. Part of my therapy and recovery included massage, and I continued to go after my healing (and insurance billing!) were complete. I have seen several therapists, requesting my regulars but going with others when regulars are busy--Each and Every Time I have received excellent work, from highly skilled and professional people. Amazing.
Pros: great value, many skilled therapists, late evening appointments, steam room, parking lot

I received a gift certificate at the holidays, and recently went in to use it; it was for a facial and massage. I asked if I could have a longer massage and use the jacuzzi soak instead, and they were very accomodating--they said I could use the value for whatever I wanted. She asked if I wanted epsom salt in the soak, or some of the other additives they had--I didn't really think those things worked, so she said she would put some in at no charge. I had the muscle therapy soak, and it truly worked! I then had a 90 minute massage from Michelle, which was one of the best massages I have ever had. She asked a few questions, any areas of pain or issues, and she actually listened to me and what I needed. I was extremely impressed, bought a gift certificate for my friend who gave mine, and I plan to go in again very soon! This is going to be a new ritual of maintenance, a necessary gift I give myself!
Pros: excellent value for top service - even with upcoming price increase it is the best value I have seen

it feels more like a medical clinic, being part of one, more than a "spa"--but they do have actual water treatments, very few "spa" in this area do... I had a relaxing soak in the tub followed by a 90 minute massage that was perfect. a week later I still felt great, feel taller if that is possible!! and I will definitely be back.
Pros: friendly staff, AMAZING therapists, parking lot, good location, clean facility

HealthQuest and their therapists are a huge relief from the pretentious, rude, high-end spas that do not deliver high-end service. Most places I’ve been charge way too much for a disconnected massage therapist that does not listen, hour massages that end after 45-50 minutes, and treatments that are simply not first-rate or good quality. HealthQuest has superior customer service (deal with the spa, not the medical clinic area), and the three therapists and facial technician I regularly see take time before your appointment for an “intake” of sorts, and THEY ACTUALLY LISTEN to what you say!! Everyone sounds really happy and proud to work there, the atmosphere and “energy” is positive, yet down to earth and RELAXED.

I like to receive massage regularly, and I highly recommend the massage therapists at Healthquest. They all have their own unique style and deep tissue as well. I like the energy and personalities of all the therapists. I will continue to go to Healthquest for my massage and hot tub/steam room relaxation. I also love the location and the building and atmosphere!!

each and every therapist here is stellar; I have had many massage in my last 39 years, both for relaxation and for therapeutic reasons. I have had the most comprehensive work done with the LMT staff at Healthquest, precision work that actually heals, and every therapist there knows how to do this, with their own personal style, their own arsenal of skill and mastery of the body and an intense knowledge of a specific pain, and where that pain may originate. I have been given exercises to do on my own to help the process; I have had energy work that is absolutely cosmic and real, and I have been worked with so intensely and deeply that I have to sit and recover before walking down those stairs to my car. treat yourself to the BEST in portland. do it today.

my boyfriend and I went recently for the romance package, which was wonderful : it starts with the jacuzzi tub, big enough for two, the room has candles all over, nice towels, fresh water, aromatherapy in the tub; then a wonderful massage for each... I've been a patient here for years, I see the acupuncturist and get weekly massage. The massage staff has always been highly skilled, and the current group (last year or more) is some of the best massage I've ever had.
Pros: massage therapists with advanced education and total dedication to each patient and their needs
Cons: medical clinic atmosphere, not foufy spa, but that is why the massage is THE BEST. I prefer this to "spa" atmosphere, the other "spas" that have no water--no tubs or sauna. that's a spa??

High level of experience—the variety of bodywork skills at HealthQuest is quite astounding—they have a group of practitioners that many of us know are among the best in Portland. I have been a patient there for over eight years, and especially in the last two years the quality and level of professionalism + expertise has gone way up! There are several I’ve seen in the past couple months who are completely committed to healing work, they listen, and go beyond expectation. They have yoga classes taught by a chiropractor, Qigong, meditation, Feldenkrais. A very healing spiritual center.
Pros: Clean facility, professional staff, they know what they are doing !!

a few weeks ago I called for a jacuzzi + massage, and after my wonderful massage I went to pay and I told her she forgot me tub on the bill, she said no, I ran a special today, so I gave it to you!! she could have charged me because I didn't know about the special. that was great! I was back today and had a massage with Darby. It was exactly what I needed.
Pros: all LMT I've seen have great technique. friendly staff upstairs. convenient location--easy to get to, park and go right in!
Cons: dark hair girl downstairs in the medical office desk was grumpy the other day

I've been coming to HealthQuest since 1999!! They have a steam room (private, not "community"), private jacuzzi, and AMAZING massage therapists. All of them are fantastic in their own ways. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have fluffy towels, robe and fresh bottle water waiting for you (they give you large waters for steam visits!), and my appointments are always on time, no problems.
Pros: Easy to find location WITH parking, clean facilities, friendly competent staff, HIGLY SKILLED MASSAGE !
Cons: cannot always get same day visits, sometimes though.
