SEVEN MONTHES TO FIX MY BOARD>THEN SOLD IT WITHOUT ASKING
by willwest
Left my board with gorge to be fixed, I said I may want to put it on consignment but wasn’t sure, after months of calling (I left it their in oct) and making sure they still had my number I called again yesterday to find that they lost my number and went ahead and sold my board. After getting really upset with bob on the phone he said that he would give me a discount on the fix and waive the 10% commission, but still treated me like he was doing me a favor and like I was just some A hole. So my $500 board, - $75(fix), -7 months of my life I wont get back, + making me feel like I was the A hole = $225 check and seaside surf as my new surf shop ( :
- Pros: everybody is cooler than you are
- Cons: they need a secratary

Great All Around Surf Shop
by SurfLife
I don't usually give reviews for stores, but I felt like I had to for this shop. First off this store has a great feel and setup, you feel like you are walking into a real surf shop and not just a commercialized department store. All the employees are really friendly and can give great advice for all the equipment they carry, which is a ton. Coming from California, and being in hundreds of shops, I can honestly say this is one of my favorites thus far. Their prices are super competitive and a lot of their stuff was priced lower then the distributors suggested retail (in a surf shop that is unheard of). I recently went to an outdoor surf movie premier there, where they had free beverages, gave away TWO skateboards and gave discounts for all their new snowboard stock to everyone that attended. Next time you need anything surf, snow, skate or windsurfing related I strongly suggest you check this place out, you will not be disappointed.
This shop has the BEST Customer service anywhere...!

I don't know anyone who has had a bad expirience buying gear at Gorge. The employees actually Snowboard and surf at this place, and they are the nicest and coolest group of people you'll ever encounter. (Especially Bob the owner) They found me tons of options to fit my style of riding. and i got the most sick snowboard setup ever.
Plus I Bought my boots, and pants and Jacket at 50% off!!!
The Selection is rad... Oh yes... but the staff is better. You need to check it out if never have. and if you dont like Gorge Performance, than go drink more Haterade.
- Pros: Dope Selection
- Cons: Cool and helpful Staff...
Good Selection. Bad Service.

The reason I went to this store was to check out the snowboard gear. They had a great selection of boards; however, not a single employee offered to help me the twenty minutes I was in the store. I choose to take my business to EXIT Real World on NW 23rd.
- Pros: Selection.
- Cons: Customer Service.
