Not real pleased. I was suprised this Courtyard Marriott wasn't super nice since it has several other Marriott's to compete with on the SAME block. The staff was very robotic, the food in their restaurant was just OK. and their pool is outdoor and seasonal. The Springhill Suites Marriott right NEXT door to this Courtyard has free breakfast, an indoor pool and is priced lower. I was super suprised!!

Not everything was bad. The bed was nice, the free internet was nice and the fact that it meets Marriott standards for cleanliness was nice too. :)…

Super deal for a super room--wunderful mattress and soft sheets!. Again, we shopped Hotwire and lucked out on this 3 star property near the MAX line for an UNREAL price! The Hotwire value price was unreal! The room we received was huge; with a large King bed, nice cotton sheets, tons of pillows and a large bath. The bed/mattress was one of the nicest we slept on. We were a bit surprised there was no lotion, shower caps or hair conditioner in the rooms; this was the time during the airline 'scare' concerning liquids. They only provided soap and shampoo. Strange....

Parking is about $9.00 a night, which we decided not to pay. There is metered street parking, but the cops ticket until 9:00 PM (all of Portland is metered by the way), so you better have a bunch of change to feed the meters. This hotel was a great value and also had a pool and jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi 'broke' after our first use, and was no longer in service for our stay. There is free hot coffee in the AM, and you are like 1 block from Lloyd center (and all their great shops). We couldn't believe our luck with landing this great hotel. We are trying again on Hotwire, but prices now are now double what we paid initially!…
