This is without a doubt the best mexican food I have had in the northwest. We eat there at least once or twice a month and have never been dissappointed. Large portions of very flavorful and fresh foods. The chicken Fajitas are among the best I've ever had and the service is fast and friendly.

Definitely worth checking out.

I like the food here and the service is alright. It was a nice quiet place to have dinner with my girlfriend. I wish the establishment was a little bit cleaner, but other than that I would highly recommend this location and restaurant for good mexican food.

Coming from Texas and searching for the last six years for authentic Mexican, besides the simple buck tacos at Ole Ole, I'd found nothing either authentic or good, until now. The Salvadoran proprietor of this joint knows south of the border Mexican grub, despite the strip mall location. Starting with the salsa and chips, you know this isn't your typical gringoed-down spot. That is, it's got kick, hallelujah! Next, I ordered carnitas, which consists of braised pork and came served with either corn or flour tortillas (I chose corn, as few Portland restaurants, including this one, make their own tortillas, making me very suspect of flour ones), salad (actually lettuce and tomatoes for making tacos), refried beans, and Spanish rice. Delicious! Great service + great food = Highly recommended!!!
