Tigard Bowl is a family owned business for over 35 years. It has 14 lanes and has a few video games. This place is all about the Bowling. There are a lot of Bowling Centers in the area, and most of the proprieters are really great people. I've been to all of them, and nowhere else have I had the one on one attention to help me become a better bowler. They have a great pro shop, thats open every day. I know they have more to offer to parties and such, but what I find is " They are about Bowling" I highly recommend them for all to check out.
Pros: Great Pro shop and lessons
Cons: Beer and wine only

When you walk in to Tigard Bowl, it seems like a nice mom and pop type place. There are a few nice gentlemen that work there. Lucas in the pro shop is especially pleasant to work with. He provides excellent customer service with a genuine smile making sure you are happy with your equipment. Also, if you like to BS a bit, strike up yourself a conversation with Mark Pearl as he always is a riot to converse with. The older lady however, who seems to be in charge of the establshment, has a chip on her shoulder. She doesn't appear happy to be there, which makes others not happy to be there either. She does not greet people with a smile but a half hearted grin. The larger stocky girl also does not radiate a positive attitude. If you're not going there for work to be done in the pro shop by Lucas, stay out of the building at all costs. With the anti-delightful attitudes of the ownership, they do not deserve the general public's business.
Pros: Lucas does great ball work.
Cons: The ownership does not appreciate their customers.

Tigard Bowl is actually only a 14 lane center. Although small, very entertaining. Come in more than one time in a month and you can quickly develop friendships with employees. Prices are competitive and the pizza is excellent. I have been bringing my family here for years and will continue with my grandchildren soon!

This place is small, 16 lanes. It is also quite old. There isn't much for kids to do here besides bowl. This place is like the "Cheers" of bowling alleys. Everybody knows your name type of place. But if you want an entertainment center, you are better off going to Sunset Lanes.
