I've been using these doctors for years and they are the best doctors I've ever met. In their office they have: family doctors, gynecologists, pediatricians, accupuncture doctors and they are using a great surgeon for C-sections. I've been using them for the delivery of both of our kids even though we live in Vancouver WA and I'll use them again for our next one. They are the best and I recommend them a lot.

NEVER use this company for any reason

All I can say is that this place cause a terrible birth experience and not only was bad from having appointment mishaps, misdiagnoses between midwives, but did not let us know until a week after our baby girl was born that they are not going to take her insurance. They had 10 months to let us know but they waited until we needed medical attention after the birth to say no. The front desk staff seems to have never been trained in customer service. The billing department must have been trained in having an attitude.

Is this radiculous or what?

I had a 4pm appt. and had been "worked in" to see the Dr. for pain that I was having. I was worried about it and wanted it checked out. I was 3 minutes late and the slow office staff took another 5 min. to check me in. I thought everything was a ok when all of a sudden the medical assistant came and told me the Dr. didn't feel she had adequate time to see me and that I would need to reschedule? Did I mention I took off work early and my husband came with me to help deal with my issue? Also did I mention there wasn't a sole in the waiting room? Also that I am a nurse and have worked for many a Dr. who sincerely enjoyed taking care of people? I was flabbergasted? I had seen her previously a "new" Dr. and she was familiar with my situation. When I asked the MA if I could personally speak with the Dr. for the remianing 5 minutes of my scheduled time she declined?? Also that in the time we were talking about not seeing the Dr. I could have seen her? I purposely waited another 15min. to see if her 4:15pm would show and they never did. My husband promptly called his Dr. and scheduled me to see him from the waiting room and they worked me right in!! I'm appalled that Dr.s go to school to care for people and get annal about their watches and lose $$. I will never go back there again, nor recommend it to another person.

Horrible service and Missing lab tests

I was recommend by a co-worker so I book an appointment. I was very disappointed. I went there for a lab test and it was just a very simple test, which is urine test. They lost my sample for first time. the second time, I had an appointment at 8am and I didn't go in until 9:30am. I was frustrated. As for talking to a doctor regarding to my lab results, she was very vague. My husband went there as well for a lab test and we specify what test it is;when we go there, the lab technician didn't have records of why he was coming for a lab and what type of lab work needs to be done. As for my labwork, they didn't billed my insurance. I had to contact my health insurance directly; this clinic policy is they bil your insurance out of courtesy. omg.

The most compassiate medical care I have yet to receive!

I have been going to this clinic since I moved to the Portland Area in 2000. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I received my prenatal care from the clinic. The Doctors, nurses, midwives and office staff get to know their patients and care about your well being. I still receive hugs from my midwife when I come in for any type of exam. They create a bond with their patients that I have never experienced before. I feel very comfortable going there, and know that I can usually always get an appointment either the same day, or early the following day. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone! They truely display compassion and professionalism in the medical field.

SOUTHWEST FAMILY PHYSICIANS IS RARE!

I called today to get an appointment and was able to be slotted in within 3 hours! this is rare indeed and gratifying. I hate it when you have to wait a week or two to see your doctor. My experience this time around was FANTASTIC!

I highly recommend this kind of service.

I hope this gets shared with the partners at SW Family Physicians so they will keep this type of service up.
