Need a place to host an event??
by Dionnie at Citysearch
I have hosted several business events at Clubsport Oregon, using their conference room, and it has been so easy!! Working with Jessica is one of the main reasons I choose to do business there. She is so efficient and easy to work with, and wil ldo her best to accommodate all your needs. The location is fantastic, the price is extremely doable, and for a casual event, a great venue. Catering and beverage services are there on site, and arrangement of the room is done for you as well as clean up.
And just in case you are looking for a great family or singles place to work out, Clubsport Oregon is one of the finest in town. Their trainers and goup ex classes are second to none!
- Pros: Set-up and clean-up is done for you!
- Cons: You buy their food, which really isn't a con...........!!
Prenatal Massage
by JNW at Citysearch
I received several prenatal massages w/ Tia throughout my 2nd and 3rd trimester at Club Sport. All where excellent. Various techniques where used. All addressed my need to relax muscle tension and improve blood circulation. I was very impressed.
Therapists at Club Sport can accomodate both side lying AND prone (face down) prenatal massage requests. They have a special prenatal massage table.
- Pros: Excellent
Massage

If you need a great massage...head over to Clubsport. At most spa's the massages aren't worth the money. The theripists at Clubsport are great! I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when I'm done. I'm relaxed and feel like they've removed the tension I carry in my muscles.
- Pros: Excellent!
Outstanding Event Venue
by GalesCreekCamp at Citysearch
Club Sport was a wonderful event venue for our annual dinner and auction fundraiser. We loved our experience so much that we’ve already booked our 2010 event. We’re a non-profit organization that provides summer camp for children with diabetes and our event incorporates our campers, their families, as well as board members and community leaders.
For the adults in attendance, we utilized Club Sport’s restaurant and conference room space for our dinner, silent and oral auction. The kids enjoyed their own pizza buffet and then enjoyed the rock climbing wall, the dance studio with an instructor, and the basketball courts. Needless to say – Club Sport was a thumbs-up for all of our attendees. Jessica DeMonte, Events Manager, leads an outstanding team that helped us host a very successful evening. She is incredibly knowledgeable and detail oriented which made the auction planning and logistics run smoothly. Among the other Club Sport standouts were Chef Rick Huegli and Bar & Restaurant Manager, Scott Henderson, who prepared and served an outstanding banquet for our guests.
- Pros: Club Sport Staff and their Service
Great Massage Services!
by jxd753 at Citysearch
I have had a couple of massages at Club Sport and have been highly impressed on each occasion. Staff is friendly and skills are equivalent, if not better, than pricey day spa salons. Can't wait until my next appointment!
- Pros: Affordable while maintaing quality

My membership at Club Sport just became more valuable with the discovery of Licensed Massage Therapist Bridgette Greenfield. A totally soothing experience and a great way to get out the kinks. I'll be back!

Nice club, only makes $$$ sense for families
by newmanium at Citysearch
As virtually everybody knows, Club Sport has great facilities - go check it out for yourself, it's fairly impressive. A fair amount of little things - free towels, nice locker rooms with no need to bring along a padlock, personal TVs on cardio equipment. It doesn't have everything, however - for example, no tennis courts.
The main problem is that it's incredibly expensive. For a single membership, it's over $100 a month - plus a joining fee that is anywhere from $150-400 depending on promotions/work/AAA discounts.
Family monthly rates are something in the 200-250 range, which is admittedly expensive, but a better deal than the single membership if the whole family takes advantage. They include 3 hours of free childcare, which is quite an amazing perk and makes the monthly fees seem *cheap* for parents with young kids.
So it's basically geared up for families - if you're a single/couple, it's a waste of money compared to 24 hour fitness which is right across the freeway (with discounts, you're looking at less than $30/month there). Doubt that rates will drop much even in this economy, Lake Oswego has ample supply of rich families who won't flinch at $3k/year.
- Pros: Great facilities, lots of variety
- Cons: Very expensive
CANCELLATION ISSUES
by JBietz at Citysearch
IF you sign-up for Club Sport and it doesn't work out, don't expect a cheerful refund. Phone calls to cancel your membership are not acceptable. Written cancellations are not confirmed. Auto-debits of your personal banking/credit accounts continue even after you cancel.
Many gyms have a bad reputation for this, and Club Sport is no exception.
- Pros: Nice facility
- Cons: BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS
