I had my persian cat groomed here recently. The grooming was not good and did not compare with other groomings she has had in the past. The service also cost $20 more than many other places I've been to or received quotes from. Usually when the cat is groomed all of her hair is clipped and evened out. When I picked her up she looked as if someone just simply shaved her. That's it. The hair she does have left didn't even look brushed. I paid $62 for grooming because I thought that it would better than the job I can do myself or any of the other cat groomers who charge $40 could do. It wasn't. My girlfriend actually cried when she saw the cat.

Hello, I am a business owner and an animal lover. I brought my mothers cats to townhouse on several occasions, when she went to her home town of Louisiana. I never stopped by to check on them due to my busy schedule. But I did once on a Sunday and it was terrifying. All the cat rooms were covered in feces and the dogs were going crazy all panting with there tongues hanging so far out of their mouths. I wanted to grab them all fresh water. The employees there all seemed about 16-20 years of age and way over worked like sweat shops. I started to ask a few questions to a younger blond girl and she willingly told me that their manager Kim tells all the employees to write fake reviews once they see a bad one or Stacey the owner will get mad. Once they do so they get movie tickets. How corrupt is that! I looked into it my self and I know Kim has a Frenchie and her ex name was Kelly from being a client there. I looked over the reviews and you can see Kim has wrote a few of her own acting as though she was a client. Under her Frenchie dog and the name Kelly spelled differently. Even more crazy a client of mine use to work their and told me that it use to be a great business and now they are all about the money and cramming as many animals they can for the buck. If they did U A tests on their employees they would not have any. I am in the advertising business and would never want to recommend them to any one. No Matter how much money they would give me to advertise for them. Way too many coincidence of sadness for me. Beware pet lovers!!!!!!

I have taken my Maltese, Merrick, in to be groomed at Townhouse Pet Center three different times, and all three times he has come back absolutely beautiful. The groomers are truly professional and are far better than any other facility I've ever been to (and I've been to MANY). Merrick is excited every time we go, and it is easy to get an appointment. AND their prices are very affordable. They are always willing to take the time to talk to you and assure you that your dog will be in good hands. I would recommend them to anyone.

We've been bringing our dogs in for the last year or so (grooming only). Love the little report cards they give out. This last visit we had some minor irritation on our dog. They not only called and urged us to take the dog to the vet (on their tab) but they called to check on him and went above and beyond to make amends. Very much appreciated. Their attentiveness to their customers and dogs is evident.

This is in response to the previous posting detailing the recent grooming experience where an owner's pet was injured in a grooming kennel. I am an employee at Townhouse and felt I should let you and other readers know that this truly doesn't sound like our facility. I have asked the owner and all other employees and they do not recall an incident such as yours. Also, our kennels are not designed like the ones you described. Perhaps you have us confused with another kennel? I would encourage you as we do with all our "extended family/clientele" to please contact us with any issue no matter how small. It is a huge responsibility to be entrusted with the care of your family member and we do not take that lightly. Come down for a visit we'd love to show you around!

When I called, the person who answered the phone acted as if I was an inconvenience. I gave her the benefit of the doubt; maybe they were just busy that day. When I arrived with my dogs, I was treated as if I was interrupting business, not as if I was adding to it. Not even 5 minutes after dropping my dogs off, I got a phone call that my dog had gotten his foot caught in the cage and had BROKEN OFF HIS NAIL, which was bleeding profusely. Had I realized they used such horrid "kennels" (really just wire cages with holes, apparently) I NEVER would have left my dogs there! They didn't even do a good job grooming my dogs; I had to take them to another groomer. THERE IS NO WAY I'LL GO BACK. IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT I HAVE TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR -- THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS!

I brought my dog here for the first time today for grooming- the staff were GREAT! Super friendly and knowledgeable, even giving me info on what type of dog my mystery mutt might be. My doggie looked great, all shiny and happy when she came out- Candice (who did the grooming) listened to what I wanted for my girl and did a very professional job- I'll definitely be back!

Pros: easy to park, friendly staff, clean, efficient, not toooo spendy!

To be truthful... I don't normally take the time to write a review, but unfortunately after the way I was treated when I called the Townhouse Pet Care Center for the first time, seriously prompted me to write this negative review about their business. I was actually looking to schedule an appointment for my 10 year-old pug to be groom. We've never been to this place of business before, so I was calling to inquire about their prices, availability and what other services they might have there to offer their customers. However... After speaking to one of their extremely rude employees who appeared to be very impatient and not willing to take a little time to answer a few of my questions, really actually shocked me. She was antagonistic and cantankerous, instead of being friendly and courteous. They definitely lost our family as future customers. I decided NOT to bring my dog to theTownhouse Pet Care Center whatsoever. I would feel absolutely unconformable in leaving my dog (whom I love with all my heart) there because of their irritability as well as their unprofessionalism towards me over the phone. I would sincerely worry way too much about him, and I'm definitely not willing to risk the one I love because they're having a so called bad day. I would NOT recommend this business whatsoever, so I'm giving theTownhouse Pet Care Center a BIG DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN!!!

I have been so impressed with townhouse pet care center and their staff that I thought compelled to write a review. (which I never do) I love that every time I come in the staff recognize me and my dog, jake. He races to the door when we get out of the car which is a huge plus for me. I love that they have steady staff and don't have to see a new face every time I come in for grooming. Their great! They make you feel like a dear friend and genuinely love animals, which suprisingly is hard to find. I bring my havanese, jake in for grooming and boarding and have been so happy with their care. It's hard to find a grooming/boarder that goes the extra mile but they are it.

Pros: customer service, quality care

Cons: can't think of any except parking maybe
