Your typical chinese food restaurant with combination dinners for $6-9 bucks/plate. they have really good BBQ pork. The fried shrimp was a little greasy though. I really like their egg foo young. Best one I've found in the Milwaukie area.

Hong Kong 97 Cheap and very yummy!

For a little hole in the wall place it sure has some great tasting food. Eat in or take out it's all good. The prices are cheap and the serving sizes are of a healthy size. They greet you when you come in and they serve you with a smile. I wish they had a larger place. Oh, and next door, separate from the main dining area there is a small bar. It's nice NOT to have to small smoke when you eat your dinner. Take it from me it's a very good place for tasty food.

Best Chinese in town.

This is one of the nicer Chinese restaurants in town. The service is very friendly. The good is wonderful, very tasty. They have large portions and the food is hot and fresh every time I go.

Almost real

Ni Hao, If you've ever been to China, then you know American Chinese is not real Chinese food. Hong Kong 97 may cook normal dishes, but it is the freshest, and the flavor is the most authentic I've found in Portland. Zai Jian

• Pros: Tasty food, lots of food, cost is reasonable
• Cons: small place, bar is attached
